Rated 5 out of 5 by from Had for 7 years n works great! Some of these reviews sound more like the people operating them don't know what they are doing or are using way too much product on a single nail. I have never had a problem with it and love my drill very much! I would buy another one in a heart beat. I am a licensed nail tech but I use this drill at home on myself and my daughter also I haven't been to kind to it. It has been thrown a few times by my toddler n still works so that says something

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 9 years old and still works great! I purchased one of these drills 9 years ago for my own personal use to do my acrylic nail fills. I haven't had any issues till recently with the handle making a screeching noise in just one direction only. It still works find but I feel the handle is on its way out. But after 9 years of working great I feel I definitely got my monies worth.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Big waste of money I haven't been able to use it since I got it. There's no directions. I could not figure out how to change the tip. In trying to figure that out, it came apart and is sitting in the box in pieces.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from does a good job! I bought this 6 months ago and it works great! I think its a bit over priced, but the cheap drills i bought in the past always failed me. This one still works and has a lot of power, i even use it without stop for a while and it doesnt give out. Pretty happy with it, i just hope it lasts!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Save your money Bought this drill because it was small and easily portable unlike the ones in the shop. Never got to do 1 complete acrylic set. Prepped nails and it worked great. Cut it off and set drill in its cradle. Applied acrylic on my right hand picked up drill to clean and shape nails. Drill would not come on. Drill and drill base were hot and it was not hot when I prepped nails. First time use. Never again will I buy this drill or brand.

I have had one of these drills going on 9 years. I have acrylic nails and use it for shaping, filing, fills, removing gel polish etc. The handle has recently started making a screeching sound. Can the plug in handle be replaced without needing to buy the.

Asked by: Globug18
Yes, but only on the actual Medicool website. And the stupid handle is $60. Plus, $8 for shipping. Total rip off. May as well just buy the whole dang drill again. But I will say, mine lasted about 41/2 years before it crapped on me. 2/10/19

It’s hard to remove the little brown piece and it’s worn out so how can I take it off to put the replacement

I think she means how do you remove th band from the mandrel? I finally tore mine off and am not pushing the new ones on all the way so there is something to grip.

What tools come with it

Asked by: Billiejean
I think it may have come with a E10 MANDREL, one or two SANDING BANDS, and perhaps a pretty useless random "bit". It's enough to start you off. I also bought some other bits, but I tend to only use the Mandrel and the Sanding Bands (which are available at Sally Beauty). If I were to purchase new bits, I'd buy one or two really high-quality ones in specific shapes (I didn't like the ones that I bought from Sally Beauty).

How to place bits in device, mine won't go in

Asked by: Beautifull
You have to twist the piece that's under the silver piece where you put the drill bit in. It says open and close I believe. But just twist it and then put the bit in and then twist it back to lock it so the bit will stay in.
