Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Love it. Took most of the day at first. Which included a manicure with major cuticles, while getting things done around the house between fingers. Third time using this now that I know which siize is needed and cuticles under control with manicure it took about 1 3/4 hour. Lasted about 2 1/2 - 3 weeks. Looks great and really don't need to use any polish.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The product and review This particular product is only the nail forms. I thought it came with the poly-gel. I used my acrylic powder and activator and filled in the forms with that( it was a little messy, so i would reccomend poly-gel tube) but the result was greT no trying to file the surface of the nail it was already perfect. I’ll be ordering the gel!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from NOTICE I checked the contents of the box in a store and I just thought it would be helpful to note that it is just the nail forms that come in the box however you will need to buy the acrylic product SEPARATE. you are just paying for the molds.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Review for Form-A-Nail I have tried this product and can say it’s great. Saves money on buying forms. They are not as snug as paper ones. The one I used was paper and some were flimsy and some hard paper forms but these outweigh the paper. I like that it comes with a CD. If you’re new to this or have never tried doing Acrylic nails with forms it’s a starting point. The CD explains everything so that’s why it’s important to listen to the CD and see how it works. It answers all your questions you need to know. I noticed when people ask questions I think they didn’t listen to the CD before asking questions. It just comes with Forms no Acrylic powder and Monomer!!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Meh It’s not easy and it doesn’t automatically adhere to your nail. It ends up being the same as those ready to wear acrylics except you get to make it custom.

What product do you recommend for forming the nail? Acrylic, gel, etc?

Asked by: MrsRPYee
I found that PolyGel is the easiest to work with on these forms. It doesn't smell, not sticky or runny, and comes out beautiful. If you get real good at the application, you can get away without filing. If you file, the product becomes cloudy and loses it's shine. But without filing, it stays crystal clear. You can do encapsulating with it too. Be creative. You sculpt the product in the form, cure for 30 seconds, remove the form, and you have a beautiful nail. Practice makes perfect.

Can I use this product to do a refill every 2-3 weeks?

Asked by: Molly2012
This product consists of the nail forms only, theres no gel or sculpting kit. I'd reccomend using a dip powder for your fills. I've been doing that for a bit now.

Will these work with gel builder that cures in a UV or LED light? If so, how?

Asked by: Cometgirl
Caligirl is wrong and Marie is correct. I never even heard of these type of nail forms before i was looking into my own uv/led gel builders.

How do you remove them after you've created the nail & they've grown out?

Asked by: Packfan83
The forms do not stay on your finger. As soon as the nail has set up, if it's acrylic, or cured, if it's gel, you pull it off. It's job is only to form the product, be placed on your finger, and then be removed, so you are left with a very pretty nail. But it takes practice. You can look up youtube video's that shows you how to use them. They also come with a little CD, that shows you how to use them, but I couldn't get mine to play. So I looked on youtube. Hope that helps.

Does this item come with glue to stick the nail?

Asked by: Joycee32
No, you put the acrylic product into the nail form and fit it on your nail. Either put hand into uv light for 1-2 minutes, or let set on it's own as directed, then give a light twist of the form & it will pop off, leaving a shiny nail. Follow directions and you should be fine..

How do these hold up when wet? How long do the last? WhY does it take to remove them?

Asked by: Sunshine775
It sounds like you have the wrong idea about how to use these. You only use these forms to sculpt a product in them. You can use Acrylic, Gel or Polygel to sculpt with the forms. After you shape the nail in the form, you turn it over and gently press onto your own natural nail. Both Gel and Polygel need to be cured under a UV light or an LED light. Acrylic will set up in a few minutes on it's own, do not cure under a light. When they are done, remove the form. It comes off with a little pulling, and you can use it over and over again. They aren't very good to use to do a backfill though. You will have to sculpt that free hand, or remove most of the product by filing off, and use the form to make a new nail. I hope this clears things up for you. Reread the instructions and the pictures are helpful to show you how to use them.
