Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely Yes! I have been doing my own nail dip for about a year to a year and a half now after salon dips taking a long time and breaking. I have tried another well known brand I ordered and “happened” upon this while shopping for something completely different. This product is far easier to apply and quicker steps. I feel like the negative reviewers couldn’t have applied properly. I’m extremely satisfied and it allowed me to use my old dip powder (I tried on one nail, each hand), working well with the ASP powders. I’d say use YouTube for tutorials to increase your success and have plenty of time while you’re learning the product. ALSO, do one nail to completion as a test and then one nail at a time once u do ur new sets. 2.5-3 weeks stay time...average.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great! I can’t afford to go to my the salon to have my nails done so I took a chance on this. Even after my first try these last 2-3 weeks depending on how fast my nails grow. I invested in an inexpexcive nail drill, which has helped greatly.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No. I bought this, spent $63 to get everything for it, and after I had done it and tried to take it off it thinned out and tore my nails. I would NOT recommend this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth it!! Bought this about a week ago to start doing my own nails after I paid more than $100 to get nails that I wasn’t happy with at a nail salon. I assumed that it’d be incredibly difficult but, after watching several YouTube videos, I did my nails for the first time (and with forms, no less)! I used the clear powder to sculpt the nail and then regular gel polish to do the designs. Sculpting the nail was WAY easier than I thought it would be. The powder itself was really easy to mold with some acrylic liquid. It’s definitely not the prettiest set of nails I’ve ever had but I’m very happy with the results, especially for being my first time. 10/10 so easy to work with and it’s a good quality for the money you’re spending! Disclaimer: I have been doing nail art on my own nails for about 10 years now so I’m not new to that, just the sculpting of acrylic

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these, healthy nails I redo my nails EVERY WEEK at home. I went to cosmetology school and wont pay $40+ for acrylic nails. This dip is super easy to use. I have gotten 2 weeks out of it but I like a new color every week. I have alot of colors. I use a small drill I bought seperately elsewhere, for $20.00 to help and it doesnt take long to get the hang of it. I get compliments all the time on how professional they look.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My first time doing dip powder. I am a licensed cosmetologist and wanted to start doing my own nails to keep to my budget. I added tips because that is the look I like. If done correctly it will last 14+ days. The product also came right off, now I will have to stock up on different colors. I am on my second set

Can quick dip powders be used on acrylic nails?

Asked by: AngieD007
Yes. Dip powder is acrylic. What you’re changing with dip powder is the application process.

Cannot tell from the color circles. Do any of these dip powders have sparkles in them?

Asked by: PollyAnne
Yes! ASP Dip Powders do have a choice of Shimmer & Sparkle powders available. Here's what I've purchased so far~ Pinky Swear - pink sparkle No Place Like Home - red sparkle Pink Unicorn - light almond sparkle Dew Drops - light grey shimmer Frosted Cavier - dark bronze shimmer Shimmer Blues - royal blue shimmer Misty Grey - medium grey shimmer Silver Sheen - fine silver glitter **Suggestions....Use the "Clear" dip powder to top off glitters. This helps to give a smoother finish when using the heavier glitter powders. I have also found using a similar solid pigment color powder as a base. This helps for a better coverage since some of the glitters are in a clear base powder. Hope this is helpful!

Can I paint my nails with regular nail polish and then use the clear dip over it for strength? If so do I apply the primer before the regular polish and then the clear dip?

Asked by: Linda0367
I do the opposite...clear or natural on my nail and regular polish over it.
