Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty color I just bought this dusty rose color tonight. I like the color, but after you file and buff the color comes off. I used tips as well. It was hard to do and to get the tips the correct size. I always practice. Next time I won't use tips and just the natural nail.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product if you read (and follow) the directions, and prep your nails, this product looks better than going to the nail salon. I have ordered four more colors. And, I am buying more kits to give as Christmas gifts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good It took me a little bit of practice, but I've finally gotten it down pretty well. My nails look beautiful and I get very close to 3 weeks before lifting. I'm impressed Other brands I have tried haven't been as good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great product I bought many colors and i put it on. I had to watch a u tube to see what steps I missed. Once I watched that they turned out good. If you are in a rush, then do when you can do all the steps to get the best results.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Home vs salon Started with a kit and saved enough money doing it at home that I got my own electric nail machine. Proper pre sanding is required for bonding and now I'm going to try using with acrilic liquid and brushes. Very nice and cost effective way to do it yourself

Rated 4 out of 5 by from First time user came out great! First time using the starter kit. Directions were easy to follow. The only thing different I did was brush off the access powder between coats! I had my nails done at a Salon for $40 plus tip. This kit is under 40 and I can use it over and over again!

Which dip powder would you use to create the "nut nail" or "soft white" nail looks?

Asked by: Kayla207
I know exactly what color you’re talking about. I would use fresh cotton and crystal clear and mix them up. Mix a small amount and test it on a clear tip

I am trying to use a gel polish on top but it keeps bubbling off. I am doing the gel polish correctly but am new to the dip. What can I be doing wrong with the dip that it isn't allowing the gel to stick?

Asked by: _CatM13_
Use the dip as directed , finish with the activator , file the nails as needed with 180 grit and finish with the blocks , once satisfied with the look , start as you start on a fresh nail with the gel , I usually wipe the nails with alcohol after the buffing then use the pH from the gel kit , base , two coats of gel color and then top , great results . The bubbles probably coming from not letting your nails dry enough when you get the dip steps done

Will these powders work with other base/activator brands?

Asked by: MadiLeAnn
Yes. I recently bought the Kiss starter kit and have used the base, activator and top coat with these powders and didn't have any problems.

Does it peel off like the gel does? Is it strong as acrylic?

Asked by: T barber
Does not peel.  This is acrylic, you put the glue on and dip into the acrylic powder. Then put on the curing solution, and it is as hard as any acrylic you get at the salon.
