Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this top coat! It does a great job, your nails will last longer and will be shinier. The downside is that is it more on the expensive side

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't Waste your money it has the weirdest smell that I have never smelled in a gel top coat before. The smell just lingers around on your nails and gives me a headache. It also takes about 10 minutes to cure on a normal lamp and still isn't as hard as other topcoats.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Takes too long You gotta have a good lamp or it wont dry right. Other than that its ok

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It cures under a UV light, sure. But it takes like 10 minutes total. I’ve yet to fully figure out if this is a wipe or a no wipe formula but it works. It smells a little bit chemical-y but it’s kind of to be expected with a gel polish.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Feels great I purchased this top coat to help with my nail growth! I researched that applying a top coat which you can cure will help grow out your nails stronger and prevent chipping, especially when washing dishes. I applied a base coat and actually put a regular nail polish “OPI bubble bath” on. I let the base coat and the nail polish colour completelyyyyyy dry first before applying one coat of this top coat. If you don’t let it dry it will become tacky. I cured each hand for 3mins and it dried completely. The nail polish looks like a gel finish, feels like a protectant on top of my nail. I am not sure yet how long it’s going to allow the nail polish to last but the only thing is if i smell my nails it has a little bit of a chemical smell; however, I’m pretty sure it will ware off.

Clerk told me I do not need to cure this with a uva light. Is this true. After reading reviews I am afraid to use this.

Asked by: Lisa 786
Does NOT need to be cured with light! It does however need to be applied to dry nails. I tell my ladies to put it on that night (after I've done their nails) or the next day. It's not meant to be used as a top coat right after your color has been applied.

Will this work as a no wipe top coat when applying powders?

Asked by: Cyndi1966
I've tryed using it with powders and it didn't work. My powders could have been the problem as they were cheap

does this keep nails polish from turning yellow

Asked by: dottiemu
If used on acrylic it might due to the uv light. In my experience while indoor tanning my French manicure's always turned yellow from the uv light. I'd stick to using this on natural nails just to be safe. Or if doing a french manicure on acrylics us an undercoat with a pearl sheen to it to hide the yellow.

Will direct sunlight work?

I noticed that even the polishes from the normal gel kit with a UV light I had would begin to cure if I did my nails outside and the sun shifted so that I was in dappled shade and the spots of sun hit the nails or brush, as I was working. So, I'm wondering if UV cured, non-gel top coats like this can be cured by standing outside. It seems like that would expose the fingers to less intense UV.
Asked by: Bea
I honestly don't know the answer to this, maybe give it a shot and see what happens? My only thought is that the UV you get from a lamp is far more intense than what you're getting in the sun, so the length of time it takes to cure might be a lot longer?

Will this work with LED light?

Just wanted to see if this would work with an LED light as well as the UV
Asked by: Anonymous
No, this has to be sealed with a UV light or it will not cure.
