I got a gel manicure approximately a month ago, however, I never returned to the nail salon to have the gel nail polish removed. UV light was used. What do I have to do to remove the gel nail polish besides applying acetone? Thanks for your assistance.

Asked by: TooBlessed
Put acetone on cotton ball  Place it on the nail and wrap with aluminum foil for 12 minutes then scrape it off with orange wood stick or just peel it off. Acetone will break up the product for removal

Is this item 100% acetone?

Asked by: clawsforchristmas
No it’s not. If that’s what you need, Sallys does carry Acetone remover. It’s on the website and also in stores as well. Hope this helps you.

Will this help in soaking off acrylic from my natural nails?

Asked by: chessybell
Yes. I would use this back when I had acrylics. Just remember with anything you use to take off acrylics, your nail beds will be soft and very fragile. It could take some time for your nails to return to their previous condition.

What is the percentage of Acetone in this product?

Asked by: Anonymous
The bottle states 100% Acetone. The back label also confirms that is the only ingredient in the bottle.

Does this take off shellac nail polish? the kind that UV to culture the polish

Asked by: MadameMystic
Hello :) This same brand sells another nail polish remover that is pure acetone. I believe it's in a blue bottle. If you soak cotton balls in the remover, then lay it on your nails for a bit, you should have no issue removing the polish.
