Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very high grit file, works great! Works well. Be sure and take another file and sand the edges as "the file is sharp around the edges, to keep from slicing open your skin!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Workhorse of a Product The grit is exactly as described. These files last forever. And, truth be told, I use them for more than human nails. The work great on the toe nails of my parrots and dogs. The also work great when I need to sand a piece of wood for my dollhouse and other miniature work! Easy to hold on to, clearly rated grit, long-long-long life. You can't go wrong with this item, even when you're using it for something it's not exactly designed for.

Which nail files do you recommend

Asked by: Canyouhelp
It depends on what kind of nails you have and what you want done with them. I like the pink ones. I have natural nails.

Asked by: dianehage57
Get the pink/finest grit and you should be safe.

What’s the difference between course and a fine nail file

Asked by: Anonymous
Coarse files have larger grit while fine have smaller. Basically medium is a good all purpose file. Coarse file whittles the nail quickly but leaves ragged edges that can be smoothed down with a fine file.

Does anyone know the long these files are?

Asked by: Erin32281
Guessing without getting my ruler about eight inches long and about half inch wide. Been using over ten years. Washable, hold up well, can file both ways without damage to my nails.  Good luck.
