  • Heals while strengthens natural nails Treatment for hard, brittle nails Smooths uneven nail surfaces Ideal for pedicures
Nail Tek Foundation III fills unsightly ridges and nail damage while healing and strengthening the natural nail. This unique base coat is a special blend of strengtheners, conditioners, micro-fibers, and natural fillers that promotes polish adhesion.
  • 1. Clean and prime nails.

    2. Treat with one coat of the appropriate Nail Tek strengthening formula as a base coat. Begin at the half moon, stroking toward the end of the nail. Be sure to keep all nail products away from the cuticle and skin as they may cause dryness.

    3. Color with two coats of your favorite shade of nail polish.

    4. Apply the appropriate Nail Tek Strengthener daily for 7 days to reseal and protect free edges. After one week, remove all polish with a non-acetone remover and begin the five steps again.

  • Dry, brittle nails can show vertical ridging, flaking at the free edge, as well as dry white spots that can be similar to dandruff. They also have a tendency to break in the quick, causing painful breaks.
  • Ethyl Acetate, Butyl Acetate, Isopropyl Alcohol, Nitrocellulose, Talc, Adipic Acid/Neopentyl Glycol/Trimellitic Anhydride Copolymer, Tosylamide/Epoxy Resin, Triphenyl Phosphate, n-Butyl Alcohol, Hydrated Silica, Trimethyl Pentanyl Diisobutyrate, Camphor, Stearalkonium Bentonite, Diacetone Alcohol, Citric Acid, Violet 2 (CI 60725)

When you use this product do you have to remove after 5 days if you are not using nail polish?

Asked by: jean1946
I use this and the clear treatment every day. I build up the strength of the nail and both work better if you use it every other day and remove after 5 days. Then I start over again. If your nail are in good condition I don’t see why you would need to remove it except for changing the use of the product whenever looks like it is is showing wear. Hope this helps

What is the differences in #1,#2, & #3  with Nail Tek Ridge Filler?

Asked by: Diane 54
I have Nail Tek # 1 -- "For Normal, healthy nails." and Nail Tek # 4 -- "For Weak, Damaged Nails." I did have the ridge filler, but can't find it at the moment, so don't know exact title on the box. So here is what I have to say--I was using the ridge filler on the bottom to make a smoother nail before applying anything else. I found that with either of the Nail Tek products, but especially #4--- applied on top of the ridge filler---they were great for a few days, but then the nails. would be so "hard"--they would snap off when I accidently jammed them tip first into something They often broke all the way down to the "quick". I am now trying---ONLY---- M Nail Magic Strong--Botanical Nail Strengthener---alone with no other product. I like it especially because it says on the insert in the package, "Apply one coat on a clean dry nail 2-3 times per week for the first 2 weeks. You DO NOT TO REMOVE THE OLD COAT DURING THIS TIME JUST APPLY THE NEW COAT OVER THE EXISTING COAT. After 2 weeks remove original coats and repeat the application process. This fits in with my lifestyle. The others may not have worked so well because I didn't have time to remove and re-polish--so maybe left the polish on too long -- or something. This M Nail Magic Strong is a "Botanical product"--so I think it provides some conditioning as well. Anyway I am having better success with the nails not being so hard that they snap off---thus defeating the whole purpose. Hope this helps-----
