Rated 1 out of 5 by from Probably use only for Finger Paint Gel Polish I bought the fingerpaints gel polish soak-off gel LED curing Light Lamp at the advice of the employee yesterday. Used it last night after reading the directions of both the polish kit ASP and this, and after putting the activator on (this hardens the powder dip) put the base/top coat on and cured for 30 seconds, it looked like it worked, however, i needed a 2nd and 3rd coat because it was dull, each time using 2 min to get it "cured". testing this i touched my lip to see if my shiney smooth look was cured, and instead it would leave a sample of gel to my lip and dry there. So, It looks like crossing products is probably not a good idea. Mine came out looking dull after 3 layers and had to apply 2 min + for each application. I wasn't expecting this. I would like to know that it hardens the first time shiney. This set of nails after the lamp, may even chip- time will tell.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn't cure gel polish Used this lamp once and will be returning it. Left my client's nails under the light for 3 minutes and the gel polish wiped right off. Doesnt seem to actually be powerful enough to do its job.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Small and easy to use. I bought this light last week and I love it. After reading some of the reviews I wonder if the problems are simple user errors. It work just as advertised. I use it with the Gelish Mini System and had no issues.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not what I expected I have experience with at home gel polish - I've been using the inexpensive Sally Hansen system for at least a year. Lately, I've been seeing that there are newer LED Nail Lamps that will cure the polish much more quickly so I did some research and decided to try this. The FingerPaints LED lamp is a 9w LED lamp (3w more than my Sally Hansen). The box and literature claim it cures in 30 seconds per layer vs the 2 minutes per layer of my current lamp. Not true! It took the full two minutes to cure. I tested a nail at 30 secs, 60 secs and 90 secs and am sure that the polish took 2 minutes to set. So, given that it takes just as long as my old one and did not deliver the expected results, this lamp will be returned. Also, it is SMALL. I felt like I was going to bump my nails every time I tried to put four fingers in (unless your hand is tiny, you'll have to do thumbs separately). I'm going to try an 18W version from Vogue Beauty that I'll get at Amazon instead. Very disappointed in this lamp.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Gelish Disappointed. The polish is so thin you can see through it. I have a couple of nails with permanent dark spots. OPI and CND shellacs cover these with no problem. Gelish does not. Might take 4 coats to look really good.
