Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best on the market As a stylist, I’ve been using Technique brushes for years. They are very well made and come in a variety of sizes. The bigger the barrel size, the more body you will create and the smaller the tighter the curl. Pro tip: if you have a cool shot button on your blow dryer, use it before you unroll your hair. It will shrink the cuticle locking in the curl and prevent fly-aways. You can also do it by changing the heat setting, but it’s a little more time consuming.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Brush Ever I've styled my hair for over 45 years. This is the best brush I have ever used. You can see the static and frizz disappear as you style. I got the 2", I'm going back for the smaller size to do tight curls.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Bristles hurt my scalp! These bristles are VERY hard and stiff and this brush is almost painful to use. I'm growing my hair out and get close to my scalp and face to get the hair on the brush. I feel like I've been scrubbed with steel wool! Also, my hair is coarse and somewhat thick and the brush would only seem to hold small sections of hair. To it's credit, the brush didn't make my hair static-y and it did provide the shape I was trying for. If you have long hair and don't get near your scalp or face with this brush it would probably work well. I'd also suggest that if your hair is thick or course this may not be the brush for you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bristles DO NOT melt!! I bought mine 2 years ago and I use it with a high heat blow dryer once a week and the bristles do not melt. I have pretty long hair and this is the first round brush that my hair doesn't tangle around. I like it so much I want to buy another one but I really don't need it.

I have a technique number on top 310 what size is comparable?

Asked by: Dottie 1234
The 310 is the 1” brush I believe. I have a 370 & 2 - 390‘s. The 370 is about 2” and the 390 is about 3”. As the brush numbers get smaller, so does the diameter of the brush. So, a 310 is likely the smallest one in the photo. This answer is based simply on comparison between what I have & what  the 310 is most likely to be.

I have an old Cricket Technique brush and want to buy a new one.  How do I measure it to get the same size?

Asked by: 1949Technique
The 350 brush is 1 1/2 inches, #370 is 1 3/4 inches, #390 is 2 inches, etc.
