Always read the product packaging and inserts for complete directions, instructions, and warnings, and make sure to perform both the strand test and the patch test before applying your color.

If you have never colored your hair and you want to change your current hair color or you have not colored in 3 months or longer follow these steps:

  • Apply hair color mixture to dry, unwashed hair
  • Work gently through hair as you would a shampoo. Loosely pile hair on top of head
  • Process according to manufacturer’s directions. When processing time is complete, add a small amount of warm water to hair and work into lather
  • Rinse until the water runs clear.

If you color your hair every 4-6 weeks with a shade of similar tone and level follow these steps:

  • Make 1/4” partings throughout dry, unwashed hair
  • Apply mixture onto new growth area only, working from the front to the back of your head. Leave color on new growth area for 25 minutes. When processing time is complete, add a small amount of warm water to hair and work into lather
  •  Rinse until the water runs clear.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Meh I bought this about a month and a half ago and the color is still bleeding/washing out! The cream consistency is way too thick and isn’t as spreadable as say Wella products. Because of this, I think a lot of product is wasted because it feels like you have to put a ton on your hair to get good coverage! The only redeeming quality is the color result! It is beautiful, but i won’t be using this brand of red anymore for my hair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best red shade i pre lightened my hair to a pale blonde and then i used 20 volume developer for about 30 min and this red is so rich and bright. Definitely hells if your hakr is light before hand and be sure to use the correct ratio of developer and youll have a great shade of red!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Turned my copper/red hair dark purple brown Why would something that's supposed to be pure red, turn muddy purple/brown? Even in the bowl it turned really dark purple brown, so it's not just some weirdness with my hair... I've dyed my hair hair with all sorts of dyes, all different colours, so it's not inexperience on my part either

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This is pink I bought the bright red, bleached my hair as light as it will go (this was the lightest I've ever gotten it) and let it sit for a full hour and it is not red but hot pink. Also this stuff burns!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this product! I did this dye a little over a month ago and there has been some fading but nothing like the L’Oréal one I’ve used the only down side is it does stain and bleed like crazy but I haven’t found a bright red that hasn’t done that yet

Is the color inside the tube supposed to be white?? I bought 2 and both are white cream, instead of red...? I always use the semi permanent it's it's always red cream. Are these bad tubes?

Asked by: Monalace
Yes the cream inside is white, the developer actually develops the color.

Will the red cover black hair

Asked by: Koda1223
Try Loreal HiLift Dye for dark hair, in the color red. That should do the job without having to bleach your hair

If the hair is not prelightened, would this color show up at all?

Asked by: Sandy321
Yes it will, it has developer already in it and will lift current color while dying the hair, use developer still even though it has it in the dye already, I recommend using 30 volume developer with this dye!
