My foundation contains sun protection. Is it necessary to also wear a sunscreen under my foundation?
If your makeup has an SPF (Sun Protection Factor) of 15 or more, you may not need to wear a separate sunscreen product under your foundation. However, keep in mind that to achieve adequate coverage you must apply the foundation over all exposed areas. To assure adequate sun protection, consider using a moisturizing sunscreen under your foundation. Look for SPF 15 or greater.
