Should I use the same facial moisturizer in the summer as in the winter?
Although in summer our faces tend to be more exposed to the elements, most people tend to have dryer skin during the winter months due to the combination of the outdoor elements and indoor heating. Unless your skin is oily, you may want to use a slightly heavier moisturizing product, such as a cream instead of a lotion, during the winter. In summer, or on the slopes, use a sunscreen as well as a moisturizer or a moisturizer containing sun protection. Make sure you check the SPF factor on the package. For outdoor sports, a minimum of SPF 15 is widely recommended by dermatologists.
