Surgi-Wax Microwave Formula is formulated with Maple Honey that helps to firmly grasp fine and even short hair and remove it from the root. Leaves skin sleek, smooth and hair-free for weeks.
  • Simply warm professional grade wax in your microwave to a creamy consistency, apply to skin and in a few seconds, life wax off along with the unwanted hair. Warm wax in microwave. Dip spatula into wax and apply to desired area. Leave on a few seconds until wax is pliable. Lift off wax in opposite direction of hair growth.
  • If you have sensitive skin, rub an ice cube over the area first to numb it a bit. Before you use Surgi Wax Microwave Hair Remover for Body & Leg, apply a light dusting of powder to help wax grip. Immediately after removing wax, apply gentle pressure to soothe skin. Avoid waxing just before or during the first days of your menstrual cycle as skin is more sensitive at this time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Been using this for over 20 years! Works great! Heat up for 2min, low temp 80% in microwave. The wax should be half melted. Make sure it is not hot when place on face or body. I would not use any other products except this kind. With practice, it’s easy and not messy at all

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Surgi Wax This “stuff” should be banned! The lady at Sally’s said it is great! This JUNK is like glue. It sticks to your fingers, your nails, and won’t come off. Even with acetone. Taking mine back for a refund. Do NOT buy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Used for face, works great I used this on my face last night. Works great, better than the old amber-colored formulation. As always, hard waxing is a messy process and takes a bit of skill to keep from spilling all over. I'm an old hand at it, so this went well, and it DID NOT pull at my skin (which the old formulation would--ouch!)

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DO NOT BUY If was horrible, it didn't pull all the hairs off and also left little bits which scrubbing off in the shower didn't work. It also hurts really bad

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not original formula After using this product for many years, I will choose another product to use. It used to come off cleanly and in one swipe. But now, it comes off in pieces and I'm left to pick off bits and pieces to remove it all off. It's very frustrating to have to baby oil and scrape it off. I won't purchase it anymore. It used to be my favorite wax.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent Use-at-Home Was I have been using this wax for 20+ years. I wish, though, they would go back to their original formulation. Doesn't work as well as it used to. Also, bring back the wooden spoon-like spatula. A popsicle-style stick is too narrow.

How is the hair removed without Muslin strips?

Asked by: Diann Bernardo
After about 30 seconds or so, the wax cools and hardens and is not sticky to touch. You just peel the edge away from your skin, then take hold and yank it off.
