Rated 4 out of 5 by from Relaxed Hair! I use this oil for hot oil treatments and as pre poo. It is very thick but still was easy to apply to my hair. After rinsing, my hair was incredibly soft. I haven't been using it long enough to see growth yet. So far so good though.

Can you drink jamaican castor oil

Asked by: Larae123
Jamaican black castor oil is natural and synthetic-free and can be directly absorbed by the skin. ... Ingesting the castor oil also balances the gut bacteria and reduces the lingering toxins, which could be causing the fungus to develop.

Do you wash it out after leaving it in for a day? And how many times do you apply it to your hair

Asked by: Crystal0420
It really depends on your hair type and if you’re bothered by the slightly greasy feeling.  If you can leave it on for just an hour with a warm towel wrapped around your head you’ll get some serious benefits.  Definitely shampoo well afterwards and also condition.  Depending on your hair damage or dryness,  I would do this hot oil treatment twice a month.  Also it can be mixed with other oils like coconut, olive and avocado.  I really like using it on my eyebrows and eyelashes at night before bed.

Is this safe to use on eye lashes?

Yes. The best way to safely apply black castor oil to your eyelashes is by using a spoolie (disposable mascara wand).

What makes the oil black, what's the black engredients

Asked by: QueenZ67
Hi QueenZ67, Jamaican black castor oil is produced by roasting the castor seeds and boiling them to extract the dark oil. Roasting increases the ash content, which gives it it's very rich, dark hue.

I applied on scalp and ends. Left on overnight. When I woke up, my scalp hurt. I went to wash it out. I realized I had a few bumps on my scalp, some of my hair fell out while washing it. Maybe I had an allergic reaction. Has anyone had this reaction?

Asked by: FioreDaysi
I've been using it for my girls & myself for a couple of years & never experienced that. You may have an allergy.
