Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the product I really like this night cream! It’s not greasy and feels nice on my face.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Absolutely Terrible There has to be something harsh in this product. It irritates and peels the skin. I will never buy this product neither any other product made by this brand again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great night cream This night cream is as good as the day cream, which I've used for several years. Light weight, non-odorous, non-greasy, absorbs nicely and doesn't become sticky once dry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Used for 10 years I think I've been using this for about 10 years. I started doing research when I noticed a darker spot forming on my forehead and one on my cheek. It did lighten and completely go away. I do think it took about a year of 2x daily use. I didn't use much each time though. I love how oil free this lotion is, it works well with all my foundations (Clinique, Estee Lauder, Bare Essentials), and the products do last almost a year. I use the face wash in this brand because it tends to remove my makeup well and leaves my skin feeling soft. I often use the face cleanser with my Clarisonic. DMAE is supposed to help with dark spots and toning skin as well. I bought some pills, opened them, and mixed it with water. It does feel more tone just after the first use. I was going to take it orally as a nootropic, but heard it was not necessary since I'm taking Alpha-GPC.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Retinol Cream A little does go a long way. This jar definitely gives you enough product for a good while. I didn’t fully give it 5 stars because I haven’t used it long enough to see a noticeable difference on my face. But My face does feel a little refreshed in the morning when I add it to my night time skin routine. It is moisturizing. It doesn’t smell of strong chemicals and it does burn my skin, so that’s a plus. Good product if you wanna try new things on yourself.

I generally wear a liquid foundation on my face during the day, do you think it would be more beneficial to get the night cream as opposed to the day cream?

Asked by: DarkLovely
I use the night cream at night and the day cream during the day. I only use liquid foundation on top of the day cream in problem areas as foundation can accentuate wrinkles.

what percentage is the retinol?

Asked by: kattail 61years old
I looked on both the jar and the cardboard package the product came in & there was no specification regarding the percentage of retinol. The list of ingredients indicates "Retinyl Palmitate," which I believe is the specific name of the retinol ingredient. I, too, would like to know what percentage of retinol is in the product or a comparison indicating that the amount of retinol is comparable creams containing a certain percentage of retinol.

Can I use retinol brighting when I cook or outside?

Asked by: Rima Sabira
Retinol DOES make you photosensitive, but this isn't a prescription dose.  I have not found myself to be particularly sensitive to the sun using any of this line.  When I use prescription rentin-A (tretinoin) that's a different story, but this is nowhere near the dose to affect you in the sun. I've never heard anything about cooking !!    My source for this answer is that I have been using prescription Retin-A  for about 20 years and always have to be careful with that, but this is a MUCH more mild form of the compound.  Everyone is different however, so I would definitely be careful the first time to make sure you don't have any adverse reactions to the sun while wearing it. Good luck!!

Want to know the % of retinol

Asked by: Paulova228
According to the Vendor, Retinol product is a vitamin based. Retinol Palmitate (Vitamin A) is our featured ingredient, and we also use Vitamin C and E. We do not measure by percentage but instead, we follow the package description you would find on Vitamins and measure in I.U’s (International Units). The Retinol Night Cream has 400,000 I.Us. There is a significant amount of Vitamin A in our products, which with daily use will deliver anti-aging results in the long term

should you use a day and night cream with retinol? Isn't that too harsh?

Asked by: Mellie
I use both and it does not hurt a thing on your face unless you have VERY sensitive skin. My skin is on the dry side and I am a senior. I even used some moisturizers with collagen over it. Just as long as it does not roll up. If a cream does that you put too much on or it is NOT a good product! The Retinol should soak into your skin within 30 min. or so and then you should be able to put a moisturizer and or Collagen over it.
