Perform a strand test before using.
Off-scalp application: Mix 1 scoop (1 oz) of Extra Strength Powder Lightener with 1.5 oz - 2 oz of 20 or 40 volume WELLA COLORCHARM Cream Developer to non- metallic bowl. Check hair every 5-10 minutes. Process for up to 50 minutes.
On-scalp application: Mix 1 scoop (1 oz) of Extra Strength Powder Lightener with 2 oz of 20 volume WELLA COLORCHARM Cream Developer, in a non-metallic bowl. Apply evenly to unwashed hair. If hair has build-up, shampoo one day prior to lightening.
Do not shampoo immediately before lightening. Development time depends on the condition of the hair and the desired blonde result. Check hair every 5-10 minutes. Process for up to 50 minutes. Rinse and shampoo then apply WELLA
COLORCHARM Post Color & Lightening Treatment as directed.
Removal or correction of color: Mix 1 scoop (1 oz) of Extra Strength Powder Lightener with 3 oz of WELLA COLORCHARM 10 volume Cream Developer, in a non-metallic bowl. Apply to dry hair starting at the darkest area. Do not apply to scalp. Timing will vary depending upon degree of removal/correction needed.
Do not process for more than 30 minutes. The container must be completely empty before disposal.
Use with with WCC Post Color & Lightening Treatment to rebuild hair bonds following the lightening process for up to 97% less breakage.
RECOMMENDED MIXING: For off-the-scalp application, mix 1 oz. of Color Charm Powder Lightener with 1.5 to 2oz of Wella Developer (20, 30 or 40 Vol) in a non-metallic bowl. For on-the-scalp application, use only 20 Vol Crème Developer by mixing 1oz. of Color Charm Powder Lightener with 2 oz. Wella Crème Developer.
Do not process for more than 50 minutes.
IMPORTANT: Never shampoo before lightening. Perform a strand test before complete application. Always wear gloves.
CAUTION: Do not use on eyelashes, eyebrows, facial hair or hair on other parts of the body. Do not use on hair in poor condition. Do not use in a metal mixing bowl. Do not permanently wave the hair immediately before or after lightening. Do not use if the scalp shows abrasions, scratches, or any other abnormal condition. Store in a cool, dry place
