Rated 5 out of 5 by from Holy Grail for Home Bleaching This product mixes well, applies very cleanly with minimal dripping, and it stays moist, the entire time its on your hair! The thicker formula sticks to your hair so well. this lifted me from a natural virgin level 4-5 root to a level 8-9 light blonde in roughly 20-30 minutes of processing time mixed with 30 vol developer. If you are looking to bleach your hair yourself at home and save money, buy the value size of this product and have a friend or family member around to spot the back of your head... as you will recieve high quality results with just one use from this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from PRICY, BUT GREAT RESULTS I have dark brown hair and obtaining platinum blond hair is a process. I often have to lighten at least three times to achieve the desired results. I have used several creme lighteners in the past and Ultra Bond lightens the most, during the first process. I lighten 45 minutes the first time. Within the next day or two, I lighten again for 20 to 25 minutes. I use coconut oil to coat my scalp and hair. It does not affect the coloring process. I use Vaseline to protect the hairline and ears from burns. After toning, I use a deep conditioner and or a hair mask. Thus far, I haven't had any breakage and my hair is not dry and lifeless. Ultra Bond is a little pricey, but well worth it. I am very pleased with my results.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Couldn't use it I bought this today. Since I've never used this brand before, I did a stand test. I'm glad I did because it burned so bad. I've used the color from this brand and haven't had any problems with it just the lightener.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Amazing Bleach! I am so happy I found this! This is so much better than the regular Agebeautiful cream lightener. I have been on a journey to go lighter safely for the past year. I used this with a highlighting cap because I'm not quite ready to take the plunge into full blown blonde yet. This left my hair feeling manageable unlike other bleaches. I had FAR less breakage than I normally do. My hair didn't feel like straw the next day. I used it with the recommended 20 Volume Ultrabond developer and processed for about 45 minutes with NO heat. My hair starting point was a medium golden brown and it lifted the highlights to about an 8. If I left it on longer it would have lifted the highlights more but it was my first time using this so I didn't want to push it. I used it recently to highlight my sisters hair as well she was level 9 blonde and it took her to a level 10 without further damage and breakage. Pay no attention to the gray around the temples lol.

My natural hair is about a level 6, dark/dirty blonde to light brown. I want to add in some strong strands of cool blonde. It is always warmer than I want. Is there a toner that would work best?

Asked by: Bleaching Toner Balyage
I use color charm T18 and it works like a charm! I mix mostly 10vol developer in but 1/3 I would say is 20vol developer. I hope this helps!

I am confused. Does a box of this come with the developer? If so, what volume? 30?

Asked by: keightley
No. The developer is separate. 20 vol only for on scalp treatment. 20 vol or 40 vol for off scalp treatment.

Why can't use vol40 developers? Instead with what developers number I should use?? I got my hair naturally black with some gray-haired and I want to go straight white

Asked by: Olga Carbo
If you can't use 40 volume developer you can use 30 Volume developer. 40 is recommended as it is a more intense activator. You also probably will not go from black to white hair with one treatment. If you need to lighten your hair again I would recommend intense conditioning treatments in between. My roots are gray, I have lightened my hair and I am wanting to blend the the rest of my hair, which has permanent color on it. Would this product turn my hair blonde or bring out more of the gray. I still have some natural color in my hair at the roots.

Asked by: cjclark1964
UltraBond is just like bleach for highlighting, but gentler because it works faster. It does nothing on its own; you have to mix it with UltraBond developer. The number of levels lightened depends on how long you leave it on.

For years, I’ve been using Age Beautiful 7N permanent color. My natural  color is now mostly salt, with a little pepper.  Is this what I need to get the 7N out, and let my natural color shine?

Asked by: Buckeyebarbie
Hello this is Roxy with Zotos Professional, yes you can definitely use ultrabond creme lightener to start lightning your hair and lighten it up that 7n , make sure to stay away from your regrowth and apply only on what is already colored, try with 20 vol age beautiful Ultrabond developer

I've been using the Age Beautiful cream Lightner in the blue and white box with a 40 developer and get a beautiful honey blond color from black. How is the Ultra Bond Lightner different? Is it better? Lifts higher? Thinking of trying.

Asked by: NatashaFX
Hello this is Roxy with Zotos Professional, the only difference with our Ultrabond creme lightener is that it has bonding agents in it so it will help your hair stay stronger and in better shape for your blonde hair, both lighteners are wonderful, it lifts just as good as our age beautiful creme lightener
