Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent It lightened wellz but not as many levels as I needed. I had to do two bleach treatments. It burnt my scalp more than quick blue but it's not as bad as box dye at all

What developer should I use with this ? I’m trying to go for kind of platinum blond , and I have black hair right now. Also how many times would I have to bleach my hair to achieve that color ?

Asked by: Brianna29
Depends on if its colored black hair or natural black hair. You can use 40 volume peroxide on hair shaft for colored hair but not on roots for natural black hair. I was a professional colorist for twenty years

What kind of liquid do I have to use to mix this with ?

Asked by: Autumnlynn80
Developer. Most likely 20 volume. Depending on your desired result and expertise. I use 35-40 volume, but it is very damaging, and I usually end up with broken ends.

i have dyed black hair, i want to bleach my under hair red, to do that i need to bleach it, what do i buy for it? Do i just buy this?

Asked by: lyssa_tr
you will need the powder and liquid developer. I like using the cream developer for sensitive scalp. Since you are going to do red you might get by with using 30 volume, leave it on for up to 90 minutes, then rinse and condition the heck out of it! If not light enough, do it again. Years ago I did the under of my hair black, went to a salon VC, I have naturally med dark blonde hair, i think he did it 3 times and put me under the drier too. If you use heat, be careful not to break your hair! Don't forget to condition condition condition! I hope this helps good luck!

how many ounces of the powder and developer are you supposed to mix????

Asked by: ayden4629
It's not a matter of ounces. It is the amount you need. It's better to mix less and add. It should be the consistancy of mayonaise.

what developer would i need for a platinum color

Asked by: tasha453
Depends on what color your hair is before you lighten it. If it's dark, I'd use 40vol cream developer, sensitive scalp. It's it's really dark when times up, do it again. Don't forget toner! If you hair turns brassy. I use purple shampoo. Comp through dry hair in sections and let it sit for 45 minutes then wash it out. Conditioner is a must!!

Adding heavy highlights to shoulder length hair, not full bleach. How many packets should I need?

Asked by: americanb1255
you should be fine with 1, but I don't know the thickness and texture of your hair, so I would say 2 packs to be on the safe side. make sure you use the right amount of developer also.

Will this work well if you are trying to bleach out your hair

Asked by: Anonymous
I purchase the BW2 lightener, with that being said I use it to bleach my whole head which I have a natural short cut. Purchase the correct developer for you, I get sensitive scalp 40 volume.
