Step 1: Mix the color and activator
Step 2: Apply color all over from roots to ends
Step 3: Process for 20 minutes

A Few Pro Tips Before You Color: Your hair doesn't need to be squeaky-clean, but it should definitely be free of heavy styling products. (They can coat the hair and block the color from working to its maximum.) Hair color and activator should be at room temperature before mixing.

Love your linens? Feel free to use a darker towel and pillowcase after the first couple of washes to keep them protected from any color transfer. If your hair is chemically straightened, relaxed, or permed, we recommend waiting two weeks to color after your last chemical treatment.
