This permanent creme hair color provides 100% gray coverage and long-lasting results that help maintain up to 97*** of color after 15 washes, minimizing fade for beautiful color that lasts. The conditioning formula enhances hair's natural radiance with up to 115% more shine** while improving combability and helping reduce breakage.
Formulated with grapeseed oil and 100% natural pistachio, almond and avocado oils, this environmentally conscious nourishing color system helps condition and soften hair during the coloring process. A 100% naturally derived polymer works to smooth the surface of damaged hair, supporting a polished, vibrant finish. For use, mix in a non-metallic bowl at a ratio of 1:1.5, apply to dry, unwashed hair, and process for 35 minutes. With 48 shade options and a formula designed for all hair types, Inspired by Nature by ion™ offers expressive, fade-resistant color that works as hard as you do.

In a non-metallic bowl, mix 2 oz. of Inspired by Nature by ion™ Hair Color with 3 oz. of Inspired by Nature by ion™ Developer. Mixing ratio is 1:1.5. To determine the volume of developer, please refer to chart on packaging. Apply to dry, unwashed hair.
For natural regrowth or virgin root growth, process for 35 minutes, depending on hair texture or porosity. Then apply the remaining mixture through the lengths and ends, processing for an additional 15–20 minutes.
Rinse thoroughly and shampoo.
Keep in mind that ammonia-free color can only lift up to 3 levels, even when using a 40 volume developer.
Initial results can appear slightly darker than expected due to how the color molecule adheres to the hair and should return to the normal shade after a couple of washes.
A patch test should be performed 48 hours prior to application. Strand testing is also recommended to help ensure safe and desired results.
A strand test is always recommended, especially if your hair is porous or chemically/color-treated, because it allows you to see the results on a small strand of hair prior to doing the entire application.
Inspired by Nature by ion™ hair color uses a 1:1.5 mixing ratio, which is different from most permanent crème hair colors that typically use a 1:1 ratio. This mix yields more product, offering a better value and making it a great option for thicker or fuller hair.
All instructions are based on an average hair texture. When the hair is coarse, it could take more time to absorb color, so it requires a longer processing time. When hair is fine, it could take less time to absorb color, so it requires a shorter processing time.
