What makes it special?
  • Cruelty-free, vegan, mineral oil-free, petrolatum-free, gluten-free, phthalate-free, and paraben-free
  • Strengthening and conditioning with built-in bonding for all hair types and textures
  • Developer required to activate color; recommended to mix at 1:1 ratio
  • 100% recycled aluminum tube and tube cap
  • 100% gray coverage

The correct choice of color and developer is essential for best results. The choice must be made bearing in mind the natural hair color, the desired degree of lightening and the percentage of gray hair. Remember tint won't lift tint. If the hair has previously been colored with permanent hair color, then application of color corrector should be done first.

APPLICATION:

  • Using a non-metallic bowl, mix 2 oz. bondbar Permanent Creme Color with 2 oz. bondbar Creme Developer.

PROCESSING TIME:
All instructions are based on average texture. If the hair is fine or coarse, adjustments should be made accordingly. Fine hair is much more receptive to hair coloring, where coarse hair is not.

  • Tone on tone/deposit only or equal to client's natural level: 10 volume (3%) for 25-35 minutes
  • Coverage of grey hair: 20 volume (6%) for 30-45 minutes
  • Up to 2 levels lighter than natural level: 20 volume (6%) for 30-45 minutes
  • 3 levels lighter than natural level: 30 volume (9%) for 30-45 minutes
  • 4-5 levels lighter than natural level: 40 volume (12%) for 30-45 minutes

PRELIMINARY STRAND TEST:
A strand test is always recommended prior to application, especially if the hair is porous or previously chemically treated with lighteners, permanent waves, chemical hair relaxers, or hair color. Mix a small amount of desired color with equal parts developer. Apply to a few selected strands. After 30 minutes, rinse and evaluate for accurate results.

PATCH TEST:
Prior to application, a preliminary patch test should be conducted. The following patch test must be made 48 hours prior to each application.

  1. With soap and water, wash an area the size of a circle 1" diameter (2.54 cm) in the bend of the elbow or behind either ear, touching the hairline. Pat area dry with absorbent cotton.
  2. Apply a small amount of color directly from tube to test area, using an absorbent cotton-tipped applicator.
  3. Let test spot dry. Do not wash, cover, or disturb.
  4. Leave on for 48 hours. Examine at 24 and 48 hours. If no reaction has occurred, you are ready to color. Do not use hair color if any of these danger signs appear: burning, itching, swelling, eruption, or irritation. If these signs appear in or around the test area, it indicates that the patron is hypersensitive and color must not be applied.
