Rated 1 out of 5 by from Feels like I rinsed my hair in chocolate syrup I have used ion dye plenty of times and I figured that their shampoo would compliment my processed hair. I used it once this morning and it feels like I have wax in my hair. I never write bad reviews but I feel i am obligated to write this one as I’m terrified that my hair is very damaged. My hair isn’t too healthy at the very tips, but even my virgin hair at the root feels gross. All day I looked like I was given a swirly. WTH ion?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible product! This stuff makes your hair feel like straw..... can't even brush your hair after use.... and the conditioner isn't even a conditioner consistency.... i had to return it to the store after one use was NOT pleased!!!!! Will never buy this product ever again!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Tried this shampoo on a whim because I was wanting to try something new. My hair has never felt so dirty or heavy after shampooing and air drying. I can't even run my fingers through it... I thought maybe I had not thoroughly rinsed the conditioner out, but the next time I used it, the same thing. It made more sense when I read other reviews. This shampoo and conditioner stinks. Do not buy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Leaves Hair Feeling Dirty and like Straw... I have cool blonde highlights and bought this to help tone down the brassiness. After washing I tried brushing my hair and it was super dry and knotted...I ended up losing a ton of hair while brushing. While styling I noticed my hair felt like there was a waxy film on it and my highlights were brassier than ever. I had to re wash my hair I was so disgusted! I will be returning this. I would not recommend this product at all!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Shampoo stripped my color completely I had just cut and colored my hair four days prior to getting the shampoo. My color was grey with soft yellow, orange and merlot (basically virgin hair, high end color) it looked amazing! I went into sallys and the lady there recommend me this shampoo, assuring me that the colors would hold and last longer with this shampoo. It did not! With one wash it completely stripped my color and turned my grey to straw yellow and my merlot baby blue! $200 down the drain via one wash of this horrible shampoo! I would never recommend this shampoo to anyone!

Does this lighten your hair more if it was just recently colored blond?

Asked by: LovEMS19
It will not lighten the hair, but the purple tones the hair making it appear lighter. After your hair gets brassy over time, use this to bring it back to life!

My hair has turned pure white due to medication. I have the remenints of Rose Gold (very pale) on the ends, with three months new growth. Will ION Blonde Shampoo blend all to make a Snow White head ?

Asked by: Dollface13
Yes it helps a lot. I would recommend using the conditioner too. That helps the hair hold the color. I also like shimmer lights too.

Looking for a shampoo for an elderly lady that has white hair...not dyed, just natural

Asked by: KarenMar
I use it on my highlighted hair which has gold undertones and this shampoo and conditioner keeps my hair in the more ash tones so less gold. Of all the purple shampoos I have tried, I like this the best!! Some of the purple shampoos can be drying on my hair. So it is worth a try.

Is this available in 37660 area code

Asked by: Heather81
Heather, yes it is!!!!! There is a Sally's beside Rack Room and Five Below, over in that little plaza with Fazoli's, Olive Garden, PetsMart, etc. It sells this shampoo as this is my local store as well :) I bought it there a few days ago, I don't use mine for a shampoo in the traditional sense, but as I said in my review I leave it on for about 2 hours in dry hair and it tones yellows out like a charm! Hope you find it :)

Will it make my orange hair blondish again?

Asked by: Cindieee
Do NOT process your hair again! You aren't using the right color shampoo. If you have orange, you need blue. You need to use the opposite color on the color spectrum. You can always have a salon do a blue toning on you to get rid of the brassy but don't just color your hair again like salon guy said unless you want to be bald. Lol
