Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing bleach I have gotten this a long time ago from Sally's and didn't really like it, that's because I didn't know what I was doing when I was dying my hair. I bought it again today from shoppers drug mart and it turned me yellow (not orange!!!) after two rounds of bleach, NO bleach has ever done this for me. I have naturally black hair, so this dye really impressed me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked like a charm1 First of al I would like to say that before I used this product I was using a box product to dye my hair platinum. I did this for a year and ruined it. It broke completely off and I had to cut what was left of it into a pixie which I patiently waited and grew out the rest of the platinum. Therefore, I was skeptical to start with anything again. I have yucky medium brown hair and after a month of this I acquiesed and said I am going to buy a cap and highlight. I bought this product. It was wonderful. For the first time I had no yellow at the roots of my hair. I mixed one packet with a small bottle of a little over half 20 volume developer .I made sure it was very creamy. Then I mixed it very well on my head covering all hair pulled through the cap. Afterward I covered the hair with a plastic cap followed by a tent of aluminum foil. I checked on and off for color. It took 50 minutes. My hair turned out a beautiful high lighted platinum color.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing I always switch between the Wella lightener and this, and this one is my absolute favorite. I have the Wella tub and I really wish this one came in a tub too! It is violet and does have a minty smell to it which I love. One application with a 40 volume developer gets my naturally black hair light enough to tone and make it a very light ash blonde. Doesn't leave my hair too dried out. Like I said, I wish they sold this stuff in tub.

I have 1 oz of Violites by Roux, Dust-Free violet based bleach mint scented. Do I mix this with something else? I want to lighten just a small area on the back of my head where my hair is darker than the rest of my hair, which is natural blond.

Asked by: Anita248
Yes you want to mix it with the appropriate amount of developer, depending on how much bleach you need

What does one part developer to two parts bleach mean? I mean do you take a measuring cup and pour in the powder bleach say a half cup and then pour in a whole cup of developer which would be twice that and that would be a whole cup and mix all of it up?

Asked by: Divine60
I for one suck at math so I'll break it down for you! Lol 1 cup bleach = 2 cups of developer 2 cups bleach = 4 cups of developer 3 cups bleach = 6 cups developer, etc. You probably don't ever want to mix that much bleach unless you have an insane amount of hair haha. Just trying to give you the idea. You can do this with any cup, spoon...whatever you have on hand, as long as you can easily use it for making even scoops.

Will this work to bleach my black hair? And how do I do it? What else do I buy.

I'm tired of black hair. Going black was the worst mistake!! I want back to red but to do that it needs bleached. Please help
Asked by: Emilee
Yes , it will work . But I recommend if you dyed your hair black to use Color-oops first and then if it's not light enough to dye red then use this bleach.

Do you have Roux Sheer Delight Crème Hair Lightener - 6 Applications

Asked by: WandaGree

I HAVE ONLY USED SHEER DELIGHT FOR AGES. NOW HARD TO FIND, HOW DOES THIS WORK IN COMPARISON? I HAVE USED THE PACKET, THE 2 OZ. OF PURPLE DELIGHT, AND THE 20 VOLUME DEVELOPER. HOW CAN I GET WHAT I NEED, AND DO YOU SEND IN MAIL?

Asked by: TIGGER 1234

Can you use any brand lightner?
