Rated 1 out of 5 by from Beach Baby Lights Platinum & Oreor 40 Developer Would give it a zero if I could. I have been doing my hair for decades, my natural color is light brown & gray. About a level 6-7. This stuff made my hair an unappealing shade of blue. Luckily I knew how to lift the mess out using copious amounts of lemon juice & conditioner. Once that was gone, the roots had lifted maybe 2 levels. I followed the instructions to the T.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Option b - bleaching hair This product was recommended to me by a Sallys employee after i asked if there was anything i could use for my dark hair without bleaching it. She was sooo right!! This works really good if you accidentally dye your hair too dark...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The only thing that does NOT turn my roots red After 2 different professionals ( one was very expensive) dyed my roots and then lifted them creating an unwanted red, I was fed up with salons. Since then, it seems that all highlift powders, highlighting kits and balayage kits leave me with red tints even after toning. I have used this product twice and have zero red tones! I tone my hair with Wella T18 afterwards to get a cool blonde effect. I hope this product stick around for a long time.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Did absolutely nothing Bought this lightener today to avoid bleach, applied to my hair and absolutely nothing happened. Yes I followed directions and used the proper developer. I had some leftover so I applied it to my daughters hair and nothing with her hair either. Complete waste of money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceptional color I love this product!! My hair is normally Auburn, reddish brown. I use the natural blonde. Love the very natural, even color it gives. Soft, high and low lights and never brassy or too ashy. Hair is never over dried and soft to touch. I have baby fine, thin hair. Touch up are easy as well. Great product!! Something I will continue to use. Hope they don't discontinue this one

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Nice! I really liked this color. I have level 4-5 hair and this got me to a level 8-9 blonde. I used 40 volume and left it on for the exact amount of time the directions say. I already repurchased it for my root touch up next time so I’ll be sticking with it! My hair still feels healthy as well, I do not notice any damage. Make sure to have a toner along with it since you are going much lighter you’ll always need to tone a bit. I used a blue based toner and I’m very happy I got a pretty blonde color without bleach.

Hey there I want like white highlights the lightest but no red tones I have to have a ash color which should I buy? and thank you

Asked by: Beccajean
I've been using this product for years and it does not come out white, and it can have a little red tones. You should pick a product for white color. Go into Sally's and talk with a rep, they are very helpful. You should also try youtube for how to bleach hair white if you don't feel like leaving the house. And if you only want highlights you need to use a cap or the foil method. Caps are so hard to work with unless you have bone straight thin hair. GOD BLESS your hair!

Okay so my hair is already a platinum blonde, and I used the platinum blonde for my touch up's but it made my ends turn grey/purplish? which one should I exactly use that doesn't have that purple tint?

Asked by: Reyanna robinson
Apply 3 ounces of lemon juices and one ounce of conditioner. Then, let it sit for 30 minutes and rinse.

What color will make my hair a light white blond without any red?

Asked by: Johnna eller
To remove red undertones in hair you should 90% of the time beach the hair you want white blonde . Carefully . 20 vol & on scalp only bleach ( use if foils or full colour )  Shampoo lightly . ( lift to a banana colour & no dryer only plastic bag ) now apply baby blondes permantant colour ( this is not a wash out toner ) - use the most gray to your naked eye on store colour charts . I use these often to pop blondes as hi lights  The entire collection Is gorgeous . All personal preference on the end colour = you choose the  colour with most gray tones to get white . Have fun & don't panic .
