Rated 1 out of 5 by from My hair is PURPLE not black It’s just violet. Not black AT ALL. All my gray hair is not a very vibrant purple which was NOT my intention. The color should not have BLACK anywhere in the label.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it!!!!! I'm a fan of black hair but I also get blue black so it can be extra dark. I like this brand! My hair looked health, not dry and brittle. First time using it but I would definitely order again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Hair Color I wanted to save some money by coloring my own hair and I’ve used this brand before. I’ve always had great experiences with this brand. My hair stylist uses a level three darkest brown and this color is identical to the professional color my stylist uses. Would totally recommend!

My hair is extremely dark, majority of people are telling me to go with 20 volume but it doesn't show, would 30 be a better fit?

Asked by: Colecole15
Although the directions say 1:1, color:developer, my hair turns out much darker than color description. One very helpful sales associate advised going 1 tube (2 oz) creme color with 2X developer (20) rather than using 30 developer, saying 20 developer was gentler on my hair. This 1:2 solution works perfectly for me.

Is this the creme, I don’t want the liquid.

Asked by: Fancynancyw
Yes, it is a cream based hair color. Works beautifully.

Are you suppose to shampoo after its rinsed out?

Asked by: tmiller3
There is no need to shampoo after you color. But, it's a good idea to use a color lock treatment afterwards just to lock the color in.
