  • Mix Ratio: 1 part haircolor, 2 parts developer. Lighter than natural shade, first time application: Develop for 15 minutes, check, then process up to an additional 15 minutes or until color is even. Darker than natural shade, first time application: Develop for 30 minutes, check, then process up to an additional 15 minutes if additional coverage is needed.

Tips for achieving optimum coverage on gray hair:

    1. Select a shade level 8 or darker for best coverage; Lighter shades will create a translucent effect.

    2. Shades from Natural or Gold Family will produce a more natural result with optimum coverage.

    3. Mix with 20 Volume Well Color Charm Developer

    4. Apply generously starting at the area with highest percentage of gray or most resistant.

    5. Process for 30 minute, extend to 45 minutes if needed.

    6. For better coverage on hair that is more than 50% gray, use a fashion shade from the Red Family and mix with equal parts of Wella Color Charm Natural or Gold shade at the same level.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not blonde My hair was platinum blonde and I wanted to tone it down to a medium blonde. This toner turned my hair a light brown instead while burning my scalp.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor, sight is absolutely awful! See Notes*. I have tried every single way to see the lightest ultralight/platinum blonde color in any company. All I get is “I don’t understand that“ I asked for the corporate number all I got was “I don’t understand“ I like Sally’s but I’m going to have to switch to something better. Their site is absolutely positively awful awful awful!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from My hair is AWFUL I bought the wella color charm 6rg (light copper). My hair is PINK, and patches of BURGUNDY. not copper in the least. it feels absolutely terrible. I used to love Wella, but I will not be using it again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product. I really have tried many different color products but find this Wella to work best for me. Covers grey hair very well. Color stays true for a good long time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent color but a bit more pricey I had to switch brands because ION stopped carrying my color in permanent creme color. Wella brand came out just as good if not better, the only drawback is the bottle is only 1.4oz instead of 2oz so it cost a little more.

I have bleached blonde hair. Probably like a 9. And I want it closer to my natural hair; light brown. When i dye my hair back to brown I get a tint of green in my hair where the blonde was. What color is close to light brown and how do I take green out?

Asked by: Jaclynmarie44
If your hair is turning green its likely because you are putting a cool ash tone over something golden or vice versa. Yellow and blue make green. Happens a lot when you're not trained in it but just study the color wheel!

Can I mix colors that add up to 12 to get discount price

Asked by: Sharon06
I have never mixed the colors. But I don't see why not as long as they are the same brand. I would contact customer service and ask them. Sorry I wasn't any help.

I am no expert by any means, however I have been using Black Cherry (3RV/367), it looks almost Black whenever I dye it but in the sun you can see a tint of red. I do have some gray roots. I would like a tiny bit more burgundy or "cherry", any suggestions?
