Rated 5 out of 5 by from ION Hair Color 6NN Cream Awesome color and coverage for gray hair. Smells great too!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I’m ready to cry I bought 9nn which is supposed to be a beautiful blonde. I put it on an already level 9 hair color and it turned into a medium orange brown color. This is so disappointing. I have been spending so much money to get my hair light blonde and I thought this would be the last of it but instead I’m back to square 1.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Creme Hair Color I really like the cream colors compared to the liquid. Easy to apply and color last longer. Also, the new formula is better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent hair color The color was perfect for my hair. It covered all the gray!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ho hum not sure yet I normally used clairol. Bought these on sale. Color is comparable by level. Not as neutral as clairol. Doesn’t mix easily and additives make it lumpy. Will need to play with it more to know if I like it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally found a PPD free haircolor! I had issues with all other haircolors even those listed as "natural" with a severe reaction. This PPD free haircolor is now my "go to" giving me lasting color without the skin reactions that were horrible.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best natural looking dark brown color Love this hair color. It looks the most natural 3NN no reads or purple hues..just nice dark brown color. Makes your hair feel soft. My only complaint is you really have to work it when you add developer to cream color cream beads up ..it's odd to me .other brands don't do that..but I put up with it for other benefits.

I am having trouble ordering the only product I buy. Ion color 5nn

Asked by: LINNEA Nee
Best advice is to either see if it is listed on their website, or call your local Sally Beauty store & ask rep if it is available or if they can order it for you

What exactly does the NN stand for please on the 8NN hair color?

Asked by: Janran13
It’s if you have resistant grey, it’s for extra grey coverage. If you’re just coloring and you have little to no grey then you do not need the NN series.

I have very dark brown hair and am looking to cover the gray that is taking over! What should I look for in a hair color

Asked by: Jajo2018
I had very dark brown and would recommend 6nn. Any lower number will make your hair too dark.

So, the direction on the paper inside the 7nn say 'shampoo' after coloring process. I really think this is weird (and I realize it says 'appropriate shampoo'.) Please advise.

Asked by: Ann D Brown
Once the dye is done developing get in the shower as normal. Rinse your hair with water to get most of the dye out then use your normal shampoo and conditioner.
