Rated 5 out of 5 by from No stain!! I purchased 2n and was scared, darks usually stain the skin but this black lifted and washed off skin and scalp perfectly! Water also ran clear in no time. I dyed my roots and left the rest dark brown and it blended beautifully! My hair is soft and shiney. Will be using this from now on ❤️

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Made my hair fall out ! I regret buying this sooo much. I bought in once and while rinsing it off my hair fell out in clumps ! And the worst part is the dye didn’t even stay in my hair it’s been a month since I dyed it and my hair is completely back to where I started from. Would not recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than box kits! It's an adjustment from the box color kits I used to get at WM. But I think the coverage is better and the color is richer. I also feel this is more economical than the box kits. When I washed my hair in the weeks after coloring less color washed out and went down the drain. All in all I am happy and would recommend the product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Did amazing ! I bought this yesterday and was hopping to cover up my old blue/ green toned hair, I had grew out of it and was back in school so I didn’t wanna look like a train wreck. Salon woman recommended this, found my hair shade, gave me a 20 developer in one and only, put it on for 30 mins and washed out, let towel dry, it came out a beautiful color. Saw a review saying she had “mold” in hers, mine had the same thing but in person it’s just the color dye considering it’s a white cream that turns brown, it just prematurely turned brown

I have mixture left over from last night.  Can I use the same mixture the next day?

Asked by: pamela12
NOOOOO!!!  Once you mix the developer with the color it activates which is how it penetrates your hair shaft. It’s no longer effective after an hour (or less). Always keep color and developer separate & do not mix until you are ready to apply to hair. They each keep for a long time if not combined.

I use 4ch medium chocolate brown with a 30% but it came out almost black. I tough medium with a 30 will be kind of meduim brown. Should i try light ch. brown with 30 or 20 for a lighter color results?

Asked by: Emontero
I always use a 20 developer because I have fine hair. A lighter developer will not penetrate hair shaft as deeply. Also you may be using too much color in your mixture. I prefer One & Only Argan color. It covers gray well, is long lasting & is gentle on my fine hair. I use 4G for my dark shades/base and then highlight with 8G for my personal color.

Has anyone used One and Only Argon Oil hair color 9N? Is it a dark blonde? I use to use the 10N, but they stopped making it. I don't want to go too dark. My hair is currently light blond.

Asked by: GayleMac
9N is a neutral blonde tends to go flat use maybe a little 8 g if you are very gray

I use medium chocolate brown with 20 volume developer on thin, fine, straight hair with 50-60% gray.  I love the color but am having problems with breakage around the hairline.  Should I switch to 10 volume and if I do will it still cover the grays?

Asked by: Jconn723
Yes , you can use 10 % volume. Just add like 10 ml natural medium brown

Are you able to use any brand of developer or do you have to use this brand?

Asked by: Shelllley
You can use any brand developer with this color.  I use 20 volume creme developer with a bottle to apply mine because it is easier for me to control. I do want to point out that I personally changed to the One and Only developer and absolutely love it.  I would not go to any other brand and here is why.  My hair comes out feeling soft and my scalp does not itch using the One and Only developer.  It is gentler on your hair and scalp. Something about the argon oil makes a very noticeable and positive difference from my experience.  Hope this helps.

Asked by: coming up daisis
I have been coloring my hair for over 30 years and I have corse hair it was naturally black very thick and it was turning white.developer standards are if u want to lift the color use a developer over20, if you want to subdue the color than use under 20. Hope this helps.
