  • Maximum coverage on the most resistant gray hair Rich creme formula with easy, no-drip application Patented 'Gray Seeking Dyes' penetrates Auto-Protection Conditioning System
L'Oreal Excellence Creme Resistant Gray Haircolor covers resistant gray with no pre-softening required. Long-lasting permanent haircolor. L'Oreal Excellence Creme Resistant Gray haircolors have patented 'Gray Seeking Dyes' that penetrates gray hair to deliver extra concentrated, long-lasting color that ensures coverage of the most resistant gray hair. The Non-drip creme formula gives the best possible conditioning for your hair.

Unique Anti-breakage Ceramide R Complex penetrates the hair cortex to condition and protect against breakage. The auto-protection conditioning system helps protect and reinforce the hair’s inner structure both during and after coloring. Special polymers and conditioning agents provide gentle care to dry, permed or chemically relaxed hair.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to Use - Looks Natural I have used this product several times. Usually about 2-3 times a year. Whenever I need a "lift", this product takes care of the gray and also adds shimmer and shine to my hair. I choose a shade just slightly lighter than my mousey dark blond hair. I like the way the product leaves my hair soft and manageable -- and looks like it has been "sun kissed" -- does not look harsh or like I used hair color. Usually lasts about 2-3 months, then I notice that the roots are not as vibrant a color -- telling me it's time to do it again!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very disappointed I have always used this product but I just used it going from brown back to blonde and it did not even touch my hair color. Not at all. Have never had this issue before. I knew that going from brown back to blonde might take a few colorings but it did not even lighten it and chose the lightest blonde they had. Shade 02

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love Light Auburn! I just absolutely love this hair color! I naturally have dark brown hair and at age 40, there are some very pesky grays. This not only takes care of the gray, but most people believe that this is my natural color! It turns my hair more of a medium auburn than the picture on the box but I'm cool with that and it's so natural looking! My hair feels soft and the color is perfect! I can see why it's called Excellence!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Like the color but instructions are wrong and conf I followed the direction but it said if it wasn't your 1st time coloring your hair do not use the serum. So this wasn't my first time coloring so I didn't use it. Well the bottle I noticed after dying my hair said TO USE THE SERUM. So as my hair is drying it is extremely dry and frizzy. Something that never happens to my hair. Please fix your instructions as now I want to wash my hair.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Color is NOT the same I got the color 7 1/2 which was supposed to be a ash blonde.. and it looks copper on my hair. My hair is literally orange. The formula left my hair soft and doesnt feel damaged but the color is WAY different and not what I expected...

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Did the formula change?? I have been buying this product for years and up until recently was very happy. I’ve notice that the color doesn’t last as used to. Also some gray hairs do not take the color. What happened?? I am going to switch companies for my hair coloring needs.

I've mixed developers & hair color. It was fine. I usually use Sally's brand for whatever brand of color.

What number developer is required with this permanent L'oreal hair color? And what is the ratio to be mixed?

Asked by: nav202020
I use 20 developer.  Since, for touchup, I don't need to use the entire tube of color, I divide the tube into 5 parts with a marker and I use 1 Tablespoon of developer for each 1/5 of the tube of color.

Why can't I change the color on the Loreal resistance gray hair color? I need 6x and I can't get the drop down box to work. Is there a problem with your website?

Asked by: EstherEG
Sorry for the inconvenience. Try putting in a quantity first, then the color choice.
