Rated 3 out of 5 by from Could last much longer Nice temporary hair color that suppose to last 6 weeks. The most I can get is two weeks and pushing for three weeks. Half way through the 3rd week I need to color my hair again. Trying to stay away fro chemicals on my natural 3B curly hair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Color without dyed look!! This is very good to use on people that do not to dye their hair . My niece is 53 and has natural dark hair with grey coming in quickly. By using the Clairol Beautiful Collection it does not darken her natural color just puts color to her greys and blends hair together which keeps it natural looking.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy Gamm Love the color. Love that it's kind to my frizzy hair. Love that it covers my gray. And the best thing...2 years ago a sales person in Sally's recommended it after looking at the condition of my hair after having used permanent color for decades.

100% white roots want warm brown that tends to red but don’t want to look like a carrot as sometimes happens. Don’t want harsh permanent dye on scalp. Natural Instincts feels nice but 6r was orange. Roots looked pink! Advice or a mix

I have dark Brown hair and am trying to get a medium Brown/Mahogany tint to my hair, is there a color, or perhaps two colors blended that would give me that? Tried Natural Instincts, doesn’t cover stubborn grays.  Thanks.

Asked by: Jach2796
I would like to start off not hair stylist but extreme hair enthusiast. Since ur hair is already dark brown, it sounds like you want a hint of mahogany. This depends on comfortable level: choose 10 volume developer if you need time to apply to hair (the higher the number the faster it process the color). if ur needing a tint once ur done coloring your hair leave in for 10 minutes.  I also included the 1/4 red with full tube of magenta I think u will achieve the color your looking for. Adding red avoids the magenta from adding pink undertones(I personally did not mind it, still looked great)  I chose 10 minutes bc depending on texture color could produce faster, keep checking it as well so you can rinse when you see desired color which may take less than 10 minutes. Don’t be afraid these are great products and love them! Enjoy! Can’t go wrong with 10 developer and this is much gentle on the hair than buying box color. Can this product be used directly after perming

Asked by: Maryt754
I've used it for years. . .a favorite of mine, but I don't perm my hair. It's very gentle, tho. Not a permanent dye.

Trying to blend gray while growing out color. My natural color is between dark ash blonde and light ash brown. What color would you recommend to blend gray while growing out?

Asked by: jfran281
It would depend on the color you are trying to grow out you mentioned what your natural hair color is but not the color you are growing out, if the color you are growing out is a darker color then you would want to select a darker color on your gray hair

My natural hair color is medium brown with slight undertones of auburn. I've been hiding my gray by dyeing it to be dark brown with warm red in it. Which semipermanent Advanced Gray Solutions Semi Permanent Hair Color should I use to hide my gray?

I’m looking for a neutral medium brown. What’s my best option. Thanks!

Asked by: Joyce Van
If used on gray hair these have lighter coverage. Try mixing the 2n and 6n.

When using this product, should my skin at the hairline be protected, if so how ?

Asked by: Pandemic solution
I don't with this product. However, for future reference, Vaseline is great for protecting skin when dying

What do the letters beside the color name mean? Im looking for a neutral or ash/cool color. Are those the ones that say N or A? Like what color is chai brown?? I hate when they have dumb names and a tiny picture of the actual color.

Asked by: dksfhiwoe rq3p
N means neutral, A means ash, W means warm (orange), G means gold, R means red, RV means red violet.
