Rated 5 out of 5 by from Longest lasting color I’ve used I love IROIRO and glad the sales associate recommended it. Others I’ve tried washed out in 2 shampoos but I’m 3 months out and still have a beautiful color tho faded. Pink has faded into a lovely rose gold after 8 weeks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best toner compared I bought this to apply to my platinum blonde hair. Used the silver color, left on for 45mins. It did the job! It smells great, hair is super soft, and the color is vibrant.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from There’s better brands out there. Did not provide coverage on my very blonde hair and lasted a week. Won’t use this brand again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not enough pay off The color isn't as vibrant as I would had hoped it would be. I have very dark hair, but am able to achieve good life from my hair. This color doesn't show up as vibrant as it should.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this stuff I have used this for about 6 months for my purple hair, after trying several others. This by far works the best, plus it leaves my hair so soft and conditioned. It is messy and stains everything for sure but is easily cleaned with rubbing alcohol. The first time I did it I was impressed with how it took and how long it lasted but with repeated use it just gets bringer and better. I’m at my perfect shade now, a super rich purple and I reapply it only when my roots grow out and need to be done (about 8 weeks). I would recommend using a colour depositing mask if you want to tone it, and couple depositing shampoo and conditioner. Initially I only washed it in the sink with cold water but now I wash it once or twice a week with warm water and it still stays in beautifully.

How long does semi-permanent hair color stay in your hair?

Asked by: Lizjamaica73
It really depends. In my experience anywhere from “not at all/one wash” to “forever/it never faded completely” It depends on the product, your hair, and how you care for it after. Virgin hair often doesn’t take at all or doesn’t last long. I bleach mine first. Then I use colour depositing shampoo and conditioner every time I wash it as well as a colour depositing mask (that I leave on for hours, not minutes). It you really want it to last, only wash max once a week in cold water.

It’s been almost 3 weeks and now my hair is looking a mess how do I get this red and green out of my hair

You could use a color remover or bleach. Color remover would be best! Just keep in mind that whatever was underneath that color will show as well so removing color is a process and cant be perfectly achieved in one color removing session.

How long does semi-permanent hair color stay in your hair?

Asked by: Lizjamaica73
It depends on how often you wash it and whether or not your shampoo and conditioner has sulfates and parabens. For me, I wash it every other day and my shampoo does I believe have sulfates. It has been around 3 weeks and my hair is much less vibrant but is still pink. I think it’ll be gone around the 5 week mark at this point. If you want to prolong the dye, wash your hair less, use cold water, and make sure your shampoo and conditioner is free of parabens and sulfates.

Do I need to bleach dark hair before using?

Asked by: Anonymous
I would. My hair is dyed black but my roots are blonde. I tried this product (just because I was bored and wanted to see it if worked) and when my hair dried, my roots were a pale green (my head was green), and the black hair had a slight tint of green that only lasted one wash. No one else could tell the difference. I only noticed it because it was my hair. Semi-permanent dyes are just strong dyes mixed with conditioner. If you want the color to stay longer and be brighter, it's best to use DEMI-permanent or permanent products.
