Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rockabilly Blue ❤️ I buy Rockabilly Blue and it is the most gorgeous color. It transfers like crazy but because I love the color so much I deal with it. I suggest use gloves or it will stain your hands and everything else. It’s easily removed with pure acetone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked without bleaching my medium ash brown hair I lost all my hair during chemo so I decided when it grew back that I would do a semi permanent pink or purple color. Prior to cancer, my hair was dark brown. When it started growing back it looked like a light ash brown. It darkened to a medium ash brown and I didn't want to bleach it so I bought hot pink and purple haze which I only planned to use if the pink didn't show. It did show but came out almost purple but I like it so no big deal. Since my hair is so short there was no mess really but it did stain my scalp. I couldn't avoid it touching my scalp and by the second shampoo that was gone anyway. Rinsing was easy too and my hair felt soft after.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from After Midnight Blue So after midnight blue is a beautiful, rich, coraline blue. It is fade resistant but it is also color remover resistant. I have tried pulpriot, Pravana, and joico semi permanent color removers and I’ve only been able to lift to a lighter purple. My hair is fairly porous so I’m not surprised it took well but I am surprised at how well it stayed. I would recommend if you are not someone who likes to switch it up.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Beautiful Color! But 1 problem So for Christmas I dyed my hair Rock an Roll Red. Used the Manic Flash Bleach kit, and my.hair.was.AWESOME!! Until I washed it for the first time. This is a semi permanent color that fades harshly with every wash ( I have fine oily hair so invest in dry shampoo.lots and lots of dry shampoo) but I love the color (normally my hair is purple wanted to switch up for the season) so I invested in a few pots of the red and maintained my color up until after new years when I wanted to go back to purple and my old brand of color I loved that was a more permanent dye that allowed me to wash my hair as often as I need to. so with my color nearly washed out I used a pre dye kit that would help chip away at the red. No biggie, gave my hair a day or two and then dived into my inner super villain purple...the color wouldn't take. It all washed out after the first wash for the first time EVER. Panic sets in. So I let the rest of the purple wash down the drain between Jan to April when my birthday rolls around. I tried last night with purple one more time and it took last night. But I see places where the color is just barely clinging to the hair today and thats with applying the purple dye to the lighter ends first and not washing my hair this morning. I am not blaming Manic Panic for this, it could just be my hair, it could just be the dye. But I wanted to leave a review with my experience with this dye. I loved it, it loved my hair. But now I have to wait until my slow growing hair is grown out enough (2 inch trims once a month woohoo..) to get the last of the red stained hair off so that I can go back to my beloved purple.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Brilliant color but..... I loved the color on my daughters hair, turned her natural chestnut hair into a beautiful rich maroon but it let a dark burgandy stain on all her clothes for weeks. After about a month it stopped staining everything but a lot of her clothes and her pillow case were ruined. Otherwise the color was beautiful and it lasted many months. As a reference, she washes her hair about 2 a week.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from turned out more purple than pink, still great This dye was very bright and pigmented. I purchased this in hot hot pink. It didn't turn out as pink as I thought it would, and it turned out way more purple instead. I was still very happy with this dye regardless.

I have purple highlights all ready in my hair but towards the front of my head it’s starting to turn blonde if I put manic panic all over my hair is it gonna dye my entire head purple or will the color just stick to the lightened areas

Asked by: Kelia2025
It will stick best to the lightened areas but depending on the color of your hair, it will definitely tint it.

Hello ladies. I am 27 and a hair dye virgin. My hair color is strawberry blonde. I would like to do the underhalf of my hair a bright color like the cotton candy pink or hot pink. My question is will either of these colors take well to my natural color?

Asked by: Katie1991
Yes. Color will take to strawberry blonde hair as long as it is a high intensity color.

I have brown hair with blond highlights will any of MP pinks work with my color or will I have to bleach my hair first

Asked by: Andreabarney45
If the blonde highlights are light enough, the Manic Panic pinks should show up there, but it will not show on brown hair that hasn't been processed to a lighter color.

Sup! I have never dyed my hair before, but I really would like to try a shade of pink. I was thinking cotton candy or hot hot pink. I've read good and bad reviews for both so... Plus, I REALLY don't wanna bleach my already blonde hair. Would this work?

Asked by: Tonks123
I see you said you have blonde hair already. The first answer you got summed it up really well.  I love hot hot pink it’s dark and bright at first faded down nicely to a more bright shade of pink I like to call punk rock pink more neon but it’s really pretty.. then fades to a softer pink.  Again first answer had great tips and advice

If your hair is light cool/ashy-toned blonde, cotton candy pink will work. If it’s golden/red/ warm-toned that will alter the final color outcome if you use cotton candy pink. But hot hot pink will cover either and stay pretty true to color. I’ve used both in the past and had a great result. I the color with a conditioner to thin it out and lighten the color a bit and I got a great result that way and conditioned my hair at the same time. My hair type is coarse thick unruly hair. If you have thin hair you might not want to over condition so you might want to use the filler that they sell. I don’t know if that’s any good because I haven’ used it. Oh and I used a brush and bowl to apply it. You’re going to want to really saturate your hair really well. I left the color on for an hour. I don’t remember what was recommended but that’s what worked for me. Hope this helps and good luck!  I had fun having crazy  colored hair.

Hot Hot pink should work without bleaching. I imagine you will not get a true bright pink without lifting your hair with bleach unless your hair is very blonde.
