Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lavender Moon-YAAAS! So disclaimer, you have to make sure your hair is as bright as it needs to be before using these toners. I was able to finally lift my hair almost white on accident so decided to try the toner. Instantly turned my hair the lavender grey ive been trying to get for years. Again, YOI MUST LIFT YOUR HAIR ENOUGH TO BE ABLE TO GET IT TO LOOK RIGHT and no orange

Rated 2 out of 5 by from undesired results I used the snow cap toner on my hair after using a hi-lift blonde treatment. My hair had slight yellow-orangeish tones at the roots and slight yellowness down the lengths. This toner eliminated the orange tones from my roots but not entirely. On the lengths of my hair the toner deposited the lightest blue hue, unnoticeable probably by anyone but myself, but made the lengths darker and duller than they were pre-toner. My hair was a lighter blonde and more uniform in color before using the toner. This was my first time using this product and will probably not select "snow cap" again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great but... This is my 2nd time using this product. About me: Jet Black very thick hair. So the 1st time I used this product (Icy White) I recently bleached my hair twice in a row. So my hair was brassy orange. Using this toner help take out the orange and made it to a dark brown blonde look which was good. 2nd time I use this product after waiting a month to bleach my hair again. I've got it to a bright yellow blonde. Using the toner thinking it would give me a dark grey look, well I was wrong. I felt like it turn my hair brown blonde again. Which is something I'm trying to not achieve. My advise to you is that this product is a one time use to take out the brassy bleach color from your first time bleaching your hair by yourself. The price is amazing, the box color is misleading, but the smell is so horrible. It burns my eyes when I put it in. Overall I would still reccomend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ion Bright White Toner in Icy White I bought this toner to tone down some orange in my hair from lightening. I'm a natural brunette and my hair pulls orange. I'm not brave enough to bleach more than a few weeks apart so I needed to tone it while waiting between bleaches. I knew I need a blue base and the associate at Sally's was great. We both agreed that Icy White looked more blue based on the swatch than Snow Cap. I mixed this toner with 10 developer and one packet of Red/ Gold corrector, processed for 35 minutes. It definitely knocked a lot of the orange out. Just wanted to share in case anyone else wanted to see how it processed on this shade of orange. PS, my hair is not styled in the pics, just let air dry.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bright white Absolutely love this toner! Just wish it lasted a little longer. But it works incredibly to get the platinum shade I like.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing Long story short, it just made my hair look dull and patchy. Maybe I did something wrong, but I've been in the process of lightening my hair for about a month now. Since I was 16 (19 now) I have not bleached my hair, and rarely have I touched it with dye to darken my natural chestnut-brown hair. Rarely use heat; just sometimes use the blow dryer when I'm in a hurry, and I braid my hair when it's wet to achieve waves. So as you can imagine, my hair was NOT damaged and not colored prior to this product. To cut to the chase, I had bleached my hair once a week for three weeks, and decided to finally tone it on the fourth week with this product. It was very light, I'd been using purple shampoo so it was brassy but definitely not orange, so I figured it would be easy to achieve this color. I measured out the recommended ratio of bleach to toner, and left it on the first time for about 35 minutes. It lightened my hair a little, and although I took my time to cover the bleached hair what I thought was evenly, there were just dull grey patches in the blonde area of my hair. Since it was barely changed, I waited about 24 hours to do it again. Same results, but a little more wholly grey. I know it was my fault, but my hair was also pointlessly fried after the second time. Either way, I'm disappointed and don't think this product is worth it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DON'T DO IT; DON'T BUY THIS (This review is for "Snow Cap.") If you are looking for a level 7/8 greyish blonde, I take back what I said in the title. If you are wanting to tone level 10+ hair, RUN FROM THIS TONER. It toned my level 10+ hair to a level 7/8 because, guess what, it's not a toner. It's hair dye. It *dyed* my hair to a level 7/8 and when I used a bleach wash to take it out, it left my hair much darker than it started. If you are wanting a silvery grey color and your hair is a level 7 or 8, this might be exactly the product you want. The marketing is misleading and my hair is completely ruined for an upcoming event. This is a decent product, but is completely different than what it says. If you have level 10+ hair and want to keep it that way, AVOID THIS AT ALL COSTS.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing color, nourishing to the hair This stuff saved my hair, I bleached it a bright yellow with the ion creme bleach in the bottle, also an amazing product, and was so scared because it was so blonde and other toners hadn't worked that well in the past. I bought 2 bottles of the lavender moon with 20 developer and it didn't take even 10 minutes and my hair was sucking it right up. There are a few purpley streaks but they blend pretty well around my face and look kind of cool. Overall I would highly recomend this product and will absolutely use it again.

I have remy extensions in my hair that were originally silver and have now faded to an ashy blonde color. I want the silver tone back I started with. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to achieve this?

Asked by: LisaaL19
Silver shampoo/conditioner (I've tried putting it on dry hair and it works p bomb) AG makes a good one (not sold at sallys) You can use this stuff too. Just does a little more damage to the extensions. Regardless if they're tape ins dont get too close to the root

Shade description or photos of Natural Blonde? I can't find any online. Will it tone out brassiness and lots of red tones?

Asked by: ThatGirlJess
IM GOING TO GIVE A DESCRIPTIONS ON SOME AS I TRIED A FEW- SNOW CAP AND ICE WHITE TURNED MY BLEACHED HAIR GRAY- NOW WHAT I WANTED- I FEAR WELLA TONERS SO I CONTINUED WITH ION. WELLA IS TOO TRICKY AND UNEVEN, THESE ARE EVEN LAVENDER I HEARD PULLS GRAY LAVENDER AND DARK. I DIDNT BUY IT IM TRYING FOR AN ALL WHITE LOOK BUT THE AMOUNT OF BLEACH ON DARK RED BLONDE HAIR IS JUST TOO DAMAGING FOR MY HAIR. I AM A TRAINED COLORIST BUT HAVENT PRACTISED IN YEARS, I AGREE WITH OTHER POSTS BUT FOUND OUT OF ALL THE SHADES THE SAFEST TO USE IS SPRING BLOSSOM. NO PINK SHOWS UP. IT STILL KILLS BRASSINESS AND YELLOWS NO MATTER HOW LONG ITS LEFT ON IT STAYS WHITE PLATIMUM RANGE. WHICH I LIKE. IN FACT WHEN NOT USED AS A TONER I USE IT AS A DYE- I AGREE W ANOTHER POST THAT SAYS THIS IS CLOSER TO A DYE I THINK THATS TRUE BUT NOT QUITE AS DAMAGING. I USE SPRING BLOSSOM TO GET MY HAIR ALMOST WHITE BLONDE. FOR TPUCH UPS BETWEEN BLEACH I CAN USE 20 VOL PLUS SPRING B TONER LEAVE ON 30- 40 MINS TO ACHEIVE A NEITRAL NON BRASSY LIGHTIST BLONDE COLOR PLUS ADDED HIGHLIGHTS NEAR LAST BLEACHING DSO NOW I ONLY BLEACH MY HAIR 1-2X OR LESS A YEAR AND USE SPRING BLOSSOM ON ROOTS TO DYE IT BLONDE ASHY LIGHT BLONDE. FOR BLEACHED HAIR USE 5 VOL WATCH CAREFUULLY ITS STRONG YOU DONT WANT TO DAMAGE YOUR HAIR. IF YOU ONLY BLEACHED TO PINAPPLE YELLOW USE 10-20 VOL PLUS TONER WATCHING DEVELOPING OR BREAKAGE WILL OCCUR. I WONT UT ANYTHING ELSE IN MY HAIR BUT ION SPRING BLOSSOM(OCCASIONALY ION BLEACH_)

Which Ion tonner should I use if I want my hair to be beige/pearl, My virgin hair  is level 1, and highlights/bleached with some dark orange strands and the rest bleached is a level 7-8 and some strands level 9-10,

Asked by: Kittykat1
Because the bleached hair is yellow/orange tones, I will use pearl which is more of violet undertones in order to kill yellow , but I also mix the snow cap which has a lot of blue to neutralize orange.

Will ultra blue or lavender moon give a more silvery tone?

Asked by: Karan 66
It depends on your base hair color! If you have any yellow/ orange it will not work. If you are really white already it can turn your hair straight up blue or lavender. It's tricky, but as long as your base is even you should be ol. Use purple shampoo for a few washes before and after. That will help.
