Use a 180-grit nail file, to lightly buff your natural nail removing the shine. Remove all dust from the nail with a clean and dry nail or makeup brush Working one nail at a time:

Step 1 – apply Step 1 Nail Primer

Step 2 – Apply Step 2 Base & Top Gel

Step 3 – Dip finger at a 45° angle into the chosen Dip Acrylic Powder of choice. Tap off any excess powder back into your jar. *Repeat step 2 & 3, until you’ve achieved the color coverage you desire.

Step 4 – Apply another coat of “Step 2” Base & Top Gel, followed by a coat of “Step 3” Gel Activator

Step 5 – Use a buffing block to smooth over any uneven parts of the application

Step 6 – Apply a Topcoat for Shine and give your cuticles some love with a good cuticle oil

When it comes time for REMOVAL – be sure you have all the tools you’ll need. It is recommend to use 180-grit file, foil, cotton pads and acetone.

Step 1 – using the 180-grit file, file the nail surface to remove approximately 70% of the existing product.

Step 2 – saturate a cotton pad with acetone

Step 3- place the saturated cotton pad on top of the nail and wrap tightly in the foil *Repeat this process on all nails Allow Soak Off Time from anywhere between 10-12 minutes.

Step 4 – when removing the foil from each finger, grasp and pull while rubbing the pad over the nail, to help pick up some of the product

Step 5 – using a cuticle pusher or orangewood stick, gently guide the remaining product off the nail.

Step 6 – use a buffer to gently buff the nail giving it a smooth and even surface

  • Using a product like ASP Bonder, will help with adhesion to the natural nail, so your manicure will last longer

Use ASP Crystal Clear over your chosen color of choice for an extra layer of protection or shine.

Have Fun layering glitter shades over opaque ones for something a little different.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great Being a novice, it took a couple tries but once I figured it out, I was happy with the results.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love! I’ve used several of these colors and could only find two pictures. The dark glitter is ‘Starry Night’ and the pink is ‘Oh so pink’. For a beginner in dip powders these were easy to use and they last up to 3 weeks, just like the salon.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not a fan Used with Orly 2 in1 polish and it only lasted for 3 days then pops off

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bright and fun Very vibrant I love it! The only thing I noticed is it has a harder time setting. And when sanding down I have chunks come off a couple times. It could have just been me. So I cover it 4 times with the #3 insteaf of 2 and that seemed to help.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love This System I started using this system over a year ago and I absolutely love it!!! I have so many colors and can jazz my nails up like I went to the salon. I even add sticker designs to be fancy. These could last at least 3 weeks (and I do A LOT with my hands) but, I like to switch it up every 2 weeks. Plus my nails stay healthy underneath which is an added plus! The only critique I would say is the colors do not always turn out exactly like they look on the website.

How do you apply the dip.powder?.do you need anythwith it?

Asked by: Cindy in Dallas
Yes, you do need additional products. There are 3 other steps. A nail primer helps adhesion, then step 2 is applied in a thin even layer immediately before dipping in the powder. Do this step 2-3 times, applying the base and then the powder. Next you will need an activator that hardens the base/powder layers. File smooth and finish with a to coat. It gets easier with practice and there are plenty of instructional videos.

How many oz are each color? Not the size of the container.

Asked by: Debbie1974
Weight of product is 14.2 grams or 0.5 onces of acrylic dip powder. Settling does occur depending on pigment shade but the weight is equal to that posted on container. I hope this answer helps :D
