Rated 4 out of 5 by from pretty good overall!! ive used this three times and its been good each time!! the pink turns out petty clear and it is a little dificult to buffer out bumps but other than that it has a lot of product in each container. oh also idk if this is the powder to blame but they lift after a week or so

Rated 4 out of 5 by from DO NOT BUY WHITE!!!!! To start your off, I am a total newbie. I bought my very first kit and ran out of powder. I went on a quest for some and this is the only brand that I was able to get at my local Sally’s. It came in three choices. i decided to get the white and needless to say it was horrible! I just wasn’t able to work with it it dried to quickly and needed to file like crazy just to get them barley even presentable! So I took it back and bought the clear. Wow! It was a complete 180! The finish was beautiful, bumpy in some spots but that was due to me letting it dry. If you’re thinking of buying this remember, DO NOT BUY WHITE! It’s hard to work with.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No Good! I bought this a few weeks ago and I just used it for the first time. It’s impossible to get a ball with this powder. Had to do a lot of extra work to get the nails to even look decent

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Took forever to dry. After it did, the bumps wouldn’t come out even with a drill being used.

what shade should i use for a soft white, like a milky white?

Asked by: taylorjade
The acrylic powder comes in three colors, white clear and pink. I use only clear because I always wear polish. I have had cliens that prefer pink nail beds and white tips. I believe that you could blend clear and white to soften the color. I have not tried it so make samples before applying to your nail.

Do it look like glass clear like I’ce

Asked by: Hey676767
There are several different colors of acrylic powder- clear, white & pink for pink and whites. The clear will look like glass IF you buff and coat with a clear coat. I always opt for the white powder to hide imperfections.

Is this fda approved? IS it safe to use?

Asked by: Fefemo2006
I don't believe there is an FDA approved acrylic powder but there is an ingredient the FDA recommends to avoid: methyl methacrylate monomer. This does NOT contain that.

I've purchased this powder and it always lifts way too easy... what liquid are you guys using that youre not getting any lift???

Asked by: supermom12
I have learn that if the nails are a bit more oily then normal a good idea just as extra measure is to use a antibacterial cleansing spray bore applying the dehydrate(apply the dehydrate twice on the nail) and the primer as usual, this can help to clear out the oil on your nails and help with the next steps. I have a friend who always complains about regular nail polish not lasting as long as they should on her nails and I tried the above steps on her nails... two weeks later the regular nail polish was still on her nails and she could see the growth of her natural nails. Problem solved =)

I don't understand how this acrylic works?

Asked by: Beverlyb02
Acrylic comes in two forms... the traditional is the "wet acrylic" where monomer is use to build the nail while using a nail form on the natural nail. Now days we can use "powder acrylic" its the dry way to use acrylic where the dipping system us used. Bottom line it's all the same only in different ways to use it. You see some people don't like the smell or are allergic to the monomer liquid that us used when building acrylic nails on natural nails, so the power acrylic is a way to offer the clients a way of having acrylic nails. If don't know how it all works I suggest to watch some YouTube videos where you can learn how to use wet or dry acrylic. I hope my explanation was helpful and good luck to you (remember to have fun while learning all there is in the beautiful world of nails.)
