Rated 1 out of 5 by from THIS GEL POLISH SUCKS!!!!! DO NOT BUY Me and my sister wanted to get our nails done together but was unable to since at salons are currently closed. We bought all the stuff to do acrylics at home and purchased this gel polish because it was the cheapest gel one there. My sister did my nails and they look very good. We even bought a light for it The polish never dried under the light. We left each hand under the light for about 10 rounds and then put a clear coat over it hoping that would help. Six hours later i went to bed and woke up this fuzz from my blanket stuck in my fingers. The next morning i put one more layer in hoping it would dry under the light. ten more rounds later still not dry and my nails have more prints in them. i would never recommend anyone to buy this product. this was supposed to be a fun experience for me and my sister and it sucked. it never dried always stayed sticky. i am very upset with our purchase. this was not the stores fault but this gel polish company!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Favorite This is my favorite gel polish. I’ve used several brands over the years and this is by far the best. I use the ASP base coat with all of my gel no matter the brand. but using all ASP products i get the longest wear (about 2 weeks or more) prepping is a huge part of it. but asp seems to last so much longer even when i prep the same way with other brands.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not a burgundy at all! This is not burgundy at all. It is red. I bought online so was unable to open it before buying. The color swatch image is very deceiving and I plan to return/exchange this for an actual dark red color.. hopefully that exists.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good quality polish I’ve been using asp gel polish for about a year now at home. Out of all the gel polishes, this brand stays on the best. It’s very rare that it will peel off. I will say that sometimes the color on the bottle isn’t very true once it’s opened.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not very good gel nail polish I bought this with top coat, bottom coat and 3 different colors. They are all suppose to be soak off. After i cure it with my uv lamp the folowing day it falls off my nails or it peels up. Which is not what it should be doing. Ive wasted alot of money on this and due to covid i cant return it right now. I would not recommend going with this brand at all

I love the Essie Oxblood color. I used it a lot when I wasn't using gel. What color comes closest to that? Brooding in Burgundy maybe? Does anyone have any suggestions?

Asked by: jjjbbb80
The closest would be Brooding in Burgundy or Ravishing in Raspberry. If you'd like to shop all dark reds, you can use the below link! https://www.sallybeauty.com/nails/nail-polish/shop-by-nail-color/?prefn1=NailColorFamily&prefv1=Dark&prefn2=refinementColor&prefv2=Red

I have Brooding Burgundy - but it's too sheer and more pinky than burgundy. Can anyone recommend a solid (not glittery) burgundy that covers in one coat so I can put Brooding Burgundy on top? Thank you!

Asked by: Daphne DJ
You could try 'Lush' which is not glittery and is less red, but I would still recommend 2-3 thin coats in order to reach the opacity you are looking for. Hope this helps!

Does anyone have an issue with the ASP gel polish getting uncomfortable hot while curing under the LED light?

How do you use it?

Asked by: Pandapost3
You need an Ultra Violet light to cure the polish after each step. There is a base coat, the polish, then a top coat to apply. After the last coat there needs to be a solution to wipe off the ‘tackiness’ of the gel. It doesn’t wipe off the color, just a tacky feel from this type of polish, once used it’s hard and shiny.

I am buying the machine 5`45 LED Light Gelish. Do I need to buy any other products besides the soak off gel polishes? I see all these prep, bonders, etc that comes in a kit. Do I need all that too?

Asked by: Veronica12
PH BOND and FOUNDATION are also needed. You also need 70% isopropyl alcohol. I like the pre-soaked pads to clean nail after curing

can you paint a new layer of ASP on top of an existing layer that already has a top coat and has been cured?

Asked by: laguna47
Hi! Yes you can go over another base/color/topcoat. But you have to follow specific steps, if going over previous days work: 1.) Gently use a file on the surface of the polish to scratch the topcoat so new polish will stick. 2.) Wipe down nail with Isopropyl alcohol. 3.) New base coat over the old color. 4.) New color, then topcoat. 3.)
