Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buy this immediately! I've been using Orly products for about a year now. I wanted to save some money buy doing my nails at home. The Won't Chip is a NECESSITY! It keeps polish on my nails for about 10-12 (depending on how rough I am on my nails). It dries fairly fast also. This is a product you need!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Long Lasting and Dries Fast I really love this product. It dries super quick and keeps my manicure lasting a lot longer. It's super shiny too. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Never Again Wouldn't recommend, This top coat is really bad, I waited a couple of times for the nail polish to dry, also I applied this top coat to different types of nail polish. Anyways, I don't know if any one else experienced this but I have this top coat was almost removing the nail polish that I had on the nail, plus the nail polish it self was already dry, never of thought this wont chip polish would do such a thing. This top coat also made my nail polish very streaky and patchy in some areas.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not good on nail wraps I love Orly products but this one made my nail wraps shrink! I instantly got lines/ridges from the nail wrap crinkling. Never experienced that before and the wraps already hardened. I waited almost an hour before I applied the topcoat. Not sure how it works on actual polish yet. I'll just stick to the high shine topcoat for my wraps.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product!! I've been using this for ages - even before gel nail polish hit the scene, and clear gel top coat on regular polish was the best you could get. On natural nails, you MUST be sure that the nail beds are prepared correctly before you even start to add the base coat. My nail shop (that I go to - I don't own it) has stopped having patrons leave the it chair to get up and wash their hands before artificial nails are polished, because apparently women invariably touch their faces or run their hands through their hair after washing their hands, putting facial oils or hair product on their nails, which keeps the polish from sticking properly. I asked the shop owner, who is the only one I let do my nails (when I go, which isn't very often anymore) about the new change in routine, and he told me that they had an immediate and significant decrease in complaints about polish not sticking or in chipping too easily, once they started wiping the nails with professional strength acetone instead, then proceding directly to polish application. I never touch anything after I get my manicure done from the point of filing the tips to shape them, and buffing the nail beds, NOT making them perfectly smooth, but leaving them a little bit roughened, to give the base coat something to grab on to. I wipe them quickly with a little bit of 90% rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball, then apply base coat. (Failing that, acetone works just as well before the base coat.) Before becoming disabled, while I was still working full time on a computer at a professional answering service, which requires 60wpm keyboard skills, I could easily make a bright red polish manicure last two weeks by following that procedure, and using this top coat, which I would reapply about every three or four days just to amp up the shine factor and bolster up the surface protection. Red is the hardest color to maintain in a manicure, but a little care every so often seems to do the trick. The product can't do ALL the work without a little help from the user. Some may see the price as a little bit high, but considering that you can make your manicures last longer by using it, in the long run it really saves you time and money. I find it worth every penny. I used to purchase this in person at my local Sally store, but since I don't get around much, or very well, any longer, I can still have it sent to me at home.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Well worth it I love this stuff. it is a bit pricey but worth it in the long run. it is not a guarantee that your polish wont chip, ever! it depends on many factors. Were your nails prepared properly? are you cuticles pushed back? If i do not prep my nails, no matter what i put on them, i get chips! If you're not taking the proper steps to ensure your own manicure lasts, then do not bash a product for not performing the way you think it "should"

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Chips! If the product advertises "Won't chip" it should at least promise it for a week!! Within 2 days, the edges of nails were already peeling off. The Glosser top coat lasts longer! I'm trying Orly In a Snap next because it got great reviews, but I need a topcoat to seal for at least 5 days. BTW, I use the Orly Bonder and polish first, so I'm doing everything right!

How do I remove it? Nothing seems to work including paint thinner. Help!

Asked by: kmg
If have never had any trouble removing this product with either 100% professional strength acetone, which you can pick up about anywhere for a couple of bucks at the most (if you're paying more than that for an 8 ounce bottle, you need to do some more looking around. I just got one for about that yesterday from the local WallyWorld store.) Or even regular "polish remover" although you'll have to work a bit harder than you really need to with that stuff. It's pretty much watered-down acetone, with color and maybe some fragrance. Stick with what the pros use, and get yourself some acetone. Paint thinner won't help you, since it's made to break down different substances. That's why nail shops use acetone, and paint stores sell paint thinner.
