How do you sanitize these sani-blocks?  I buy them for my personal use only.

Asked by: JWL33777
Scrub them with  soap and hot water With a nail brush. Then I sprayed them with Barbacide  but I am in a salon so I think you could probably skip this step if you  are just using it on yourself

what are the NUMBER grits on this i dont want a description i want an actual NUMBER, your "soft" could be a flipping 180 grit which is super rough and should never be used on actual nails and only used on acrylic.

Asked by: an actual nail tech
the fine/super fine is 220/240 grit. look under the section where it says “tips”

What grit is best for removing ridges

Asked by: Susiestepper
I would use the fine/super fine on natural nails and med/course on acrylic nails.if the ridges are really bad you can use the fine/med, just be careful not to damage the nail.

How much use do you get out of this nail buffer block before you need to purchase another one? Or does it depend on what shape the nails are in?

Asked by: Alleycatz68
If you're in a business environment these are one time use. You're supposed to discard after one use. However if you're just utilizing it for personal use 1-2 months max.

What is the grit on this buffer?

Asked by: Monicaaexoh
Very light grit. Really don't know how to classify, other than lightest grit. Great for smoothing out the ridges on my nails, before I apply the ridge filler polish followed by either a color polish or just a clear strengthener top coat. This buffer is really to prep the nail surface before you apply the protective coats of polish, and it seems to help the initial polish coat grab onto the nail - thereby helping the manicure last longer. These were my findings :)
