Rated 5 out of 5 by from Red Gold Corrector I've been using this product for years. It works great at removing the red in blonde hair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It works! Best product I've used to cut unwanted red/gold tones when going lighter in a single process. It's liquid, so it does thin the coloring product somewhat, but not enough to be a problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product! A great way to reduce brass in blonde or light brown hair. It can be added to conditioner or a leave in. Love the versatility of it and lack of heavy scent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing from brown to blonde-no orange hair I always use this in my bleach as I go from dark brown to bleach blonde, it takes my dark hair to big bird yellow which means any color Or toner will work after that, I never again have orange hair. I haven’t tried it in anything else, but if you struggle even with a seven lift bleach and a 40 developer and still have orange hair, then this will definitely work for you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from HOLY GRAIL I bought this for myself and friend because we bleached out hair. My hair was platinum with a little brassiness. My friend was straight yellow. I added this to our toner and IT WORKED AMAZING!!! My friend’s hair ended up white and I got a nice silver color! I also added a packet to my conditioner just to maintain the toner. WORKS AMAZING

Can this be added to Color Oops?

Asked by: SilliwaT
It should not be added to Color OOPS. The composition of the Color OOPS formula is incompatible with the ingredients in Red/Gold Corrector.

I do not artificially color my hair--want to use this to reduce some yellowish discoloration in my gray/white hair--can I mix it with shampoo or cream rinse?

Asked by: Nancy the voter
Yes directions say can be mixed with most anything. I do color my hair and fight red and it does work for me. You could also try the purple shampoos to cut red colors in any hair.

I use Revlon Color Silk 04 Ultra Light Natural Blond. I use the Red Gold Color Corrector Plus. 32 drops. My hair still comes out Red @ Gold. What am I doing WRONG ?????

Try a blue/purple shampoo /conditioner to eliminate the brassy tones. Aveda Blue is great .  The corrector results are very slight , it depends on your base color

Can I use Ardell red gold corrector plus with any shampoo?

Asked by: MeanaTina
Yes, but I don't know if that'll do anything. It's intended to be mixed in together with tint and developer when coloring the hair.

Can this be used by itself?

Asked by: Jasmine35
My hair is dyed a gold blond, I use this corrector added to color but also when my hair gets brassy from hard water, I add a few drops to shampoo.  Works great and brightens your grey!

Can I use it along with gray magic drops? I have dark brown hair with resistant gray but often have some redish hair after dyeing

Asked by: Pattyp317
I use this product together with the Gray Magic. I mix both into my Wella Color Charm with a 30 volume developer. The results are fantastic! My grays are completely covered and the brassiness is gone.
