Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good as an additive to my blonde colors I add a few drops when I color my hair to prevent any gold or red to show through.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Additive My hair turns pretty orange/pink when I lighten or remove color, so I thought I'd try this with a toner, and it worked so much better than toner alone. I will be buying several of these to have on hand, because I am always changing my hair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It kept me away from the bronzy gold color Some people give it a bad rep but if you know what you're doing and you know your hair, like mine has a reddish tint so I use a bit more than what it said to but it works out perfectly. I mix my own bleach and use this with it and it turns out amazing for me

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely amazed: freshly or older bleached hair I added this to my wella toner t18 after bleaching. It did lift so much orange out of my virgin bleached roots that it was like white blonde. I then thought I would try it on the rest of my hair that had been bleached 6 months ago and I thought it'd do nothing. But it took out the brassiness from my hair that was bleached months ago. This product is amazing. I used 20 volume developer and left it on 20 mins. It's like a champagne blonde and I love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Do away Orange and gold. When you bleach, seriously listen does your hair turn orange or yellow naturally? Well that’s why you need a drabber like this. 15 drops and your good unless you have longer hair. It’s going to neutralize any oranges or yellows while bleaching and possibly while becoming a red head too. Unred does good But will not get rid of any golds lurking in that hair of yours. Then you need a toner. Or you can leave your hair the way it is.

Can I use Ardell red gold corrector plus with any shampoo?

Asked by: MeanaTina
Yes, but I don't know if that'll do anything. It's intended to be mixed in together with tint and developer when coloring the hair.

Can this be used by itself?

Asked by: Jasmine35
My hair is dyed a gold blond, I use this corrector added to color but also when my hair gets brassy from hard water, I add a few drops to shampoo.  Works great and brightens your grey!

Can I use it along with gray magic drops? I have dark brown hair with resistant gray but often have some redish hair after dyeing

Asked by: Pattyp317
I use this product together with the Gray Magic. I mix both into my Wella Color Charm with a 30 volume developer. The results are fantastic! My grays are completely covered and the brassiness is gone.

Can you put this in box dye? (Semi permanent ammonia free)

Asked by: gataferoz
Yes you can. I add it to box dye, hair color I mix myself from Sally’s. I also add it to hair bleach I buy from sally’s. Just so you know, I am not a licensed cosmetologists. I have been using the red/gold corrector for many years. I personally love the product.

My natural hair is blonde, & been dyed black a lot. I had tons of trouble getting it back blonde, so gave up & dyed it black again. I want to go to an ashy blonde. Should I use a color remover, then bleach & this? Or how should I go about it?

Can I use it with toner?

Asked by: Nicolevon84
Toner will not work, unless you get hour hair past the red, orange, gold or yellow stage. So you should not use toner if you have any of those in your hair, because it won't work and will waste your money. You could try this in a darker hair color to get rid of some of those tones, but it is more for color than for toner. A darker color with an ash base will often do the trick on its own.
