  • Permanent, vibrant, and contemporary colors Crème consistency provides easy application Use on pre-lightened or highlighted hair Vegan

ion Hair Color’s superior quality, proprietary blends are formulated in Italy by our expert team of chemists to deliver unparalleled results. ion's unique system combines the finest quality natural and exotic ingredients with powerful high-tech compounds to achieve exquisite, brilliant color with superior gray coverage. ion Hair Color science relies on the power of micro-pigmentation— ion's microscopic pigment molecules oxidize slower, allowing them to penetrate deep into the cortex of each hair strand for long-lasting, fade-resistant color.

Permanent brights provide bold, contemporary color that lasts. Unlock your hair’s true potential with Ion’s cutting-edge, salon-quality color science and bring home vibrancy like never before.

  • Apply on pre-lightened or highlighted hair, 1:1 mixing ratio. Two ounces of color to two ounces of 10 Volume ion Sensitive Scalp Creme Developer. Bowl and brush application is recommended. Always read the product packaging and inserts for complete directions, instructions, and warnings, and make sure to perform both the strand test and the patch test before applying your color.

If you have never colored your hair and you want to change your current hair color or you have not colored in 3 months or longer follow these steps:

    • Apply hair color mixture to dry, unwashed hair
    • Work gently through hair as you would a shampoo. Loosely pile hair on top of head
    • Process according to manufacturer’s directions. When processing time is complete, add a small amount of warm water to hair and work into lather
    • Rinse until the water runs clear.

If you color your hair every 4-6 weeks with a shade of similar tone and level follow these steps:

    • Make 1/4” partings throughout dry, unwashed hair
    • Apply mixture onto new growth area only, working from the front to the back of your head. Leave color on new growth area for 25 minutes. When processing time is complete, add a small amount of warm water to hair and work into lather
    •  Rinse until the water runs clear.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Staying vibrant! The color was vibrant even on my darker hair. It’s been long enough to have some roots showing and the color is still vibrant. I used the 40 volume developer since my hair was darker.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good Results, Stay, But Wrong Colors I picked two colors from the Permanent Brights to use on my hair: Azure and Radiant Orchid. I fully bleached my hair first, since I had dark hair. I used both with Ions 30 developer. Now, I should go ahead and said, I do love the results, mostly, but they weren't what I expected. The Azure is shown to be a light sky blue. It was really difficult to even tell if it was on the hair, per my sweetie who applied it. For the most part, this color did not take at all. The few spots where it did take, it came out a significantly darker blue than what the swatch shows, more like what I'd expect with the Sapphire. The Radiant Orchid took much better, but it also did not come out the color I expected. The swatch, again, shows a bright, rich purple-red. Mine came out very solidly mauve, more like the rose gold might look. I even triple checked the boxes to be sure I'd gotten the right colors. Still, like I said, I am happy with the results, even if they are not what I expected. My hair does get complements, and the color is staying well. No running when I wet it or wash it, no staining of my sheets, which is nice. And I would try them again, though maybe going shades darker than I think I need.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Brights purple dye This was so dissappointing. It washed out most of the color in 2 shampoos. It faded to nothing. It says its permanent, but that means its supposed to grow out, not was out.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Eh I got this today, bleached it and even put the developer in the dye. But it still looks like I just bleached it. Im not happy with it. I left it in for 40 minutes too like it said. It has a small pink tint to it but it's nothing like what the sales people made it put to be. I like the prices and the variety they had though and everyone was very friendly. Im just upset with how my hair turned out

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Color doesn’t hold in hair Didn’t color my hair at all. Followed all proper hair dying techniques, but the color simply washes out.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from be wary of buying right now I got two boxes of the titanium and both were old. They came out of the tube looking and smelling weird. The one even had one of the old boxes where you had to rip it open to get to it. I didn't even use them. I went to the store and bought ions light charcoal, which was an even bigger mistake. I don't think I'll even trust using ion products again after this.

I have recently dyed my hair a high lift cool blonde and in a few days I am going to be dying my hair with the titanium shade. I keep seeing reviews that it washes out easily. What products can I use to help keep the titanium color to last longer?

Asked by: APotter1
I use lots of fun colours and I find that using Ion after colour sealer, helps keep the colour longer.  Hope this helps.

So if my hair is Dark medium Brown will this color show?

Asked by: Mama j 4
If you are wanting just hint of color, yes. If you are wanting it to be as vibrant as it is on the box you will need to bleach your hair first.

I am doing my hair Radiant Orchard and do I just use the color or do I have to use a developer with it? My hair is short and all good hair with gray and some brown.

Asked by: dahat1992
If you want the color to be vibrant, especially with you having some brown hair, you will first need to do an all over bleach. After you've done your bleach, you will need to use the color with 10 vol developer. Make sure hair is completely dry after bleaching before adding color.
