Rated 4 out of 5 by from One Of The Best ive been using manic panic for years now. it smells good. they have a huge range of colors. it mixes well with others. but it doesnt last long for me. thats my only downside to this product. but other than that i recommend this. and the jars are reusable so after im done i can add my own mixes into the jars.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Long lasting I dyed my hair with the voodoo blue during 4th of July weekend. I applied the dye to my natural medium brown hair after shampooing and blowdrying it. I did not use a toner or lighten it at all but it was still noticeably. It faded to green after about 2-3 weeks, so a little more quickly than I'd have hoped. But I liked the green too, so I was fine with it. I'm impressed by how well the green is staying in my hair, considering it's now been 5 months since dying it and it hasn't faded completely. I decided it was finally time to work on getting the green out and head & shoulders + baking soda seems to be working, if slowly. I would consider redying it but it took weeks for the dye to not bleed every time my hair got wet. And I had to rinse my hair for probably over 2 hours the first time for the water to run mostly clear. So it was a little more of a hassle than I anticipated.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from In love Was expecting a darker red but I am still in love with the outcome. I had faded hot pin before adding the dye. I left it on for two hours. My hair feels super softer after washing it off so it’s a plus ! Bad thing is it will stain everything more than other dyes. Especially after you run your fingers thru your hair you’ll finger will be red... but red stains can be removed with Clorox. Over all super happy. Manic panic never fails. Btw, I used infra red

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Ultra Violet turned my hair blue and green I added peek a boo purple to my hair, days before my wedding. After 2 days, the purple on top turned pink and the bottom faded to a blue and eventually a blue/green. Its been 3 weeks and it still looks like I added blue and green to my hair, with no signs of purple.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful This was the worst hair dye I've used. It never showed up on my hair no matter how much I had put on. I processed it under heat for 10 minutes and it didn't even help.

I’m trying to get a grey look will the purple haze do the trick

Asked by: Robin1169
Purple haze is a red based purple. For grey results try Blue Steel, Silver Stiletto, Alien grey, and introducing Dark Star.

So I have my hair already dyed blue using the blue Splat hair dye. It's been a few days and after a wash I've noticed it's not exactly where I want it to be. If I use Shocking Blue over it do you think it would look good/ok? I've never used this brand...

I have died my hair black about four months ago from a Sally hair dye and I am looking to dye my hair with the manic panic after midnight I am just wondering if it will make my hair a little darker and maybe with a blue tint?  also do you shampoo after ?

Asked by: Acevedo79
Any darker shade of Manic Panic will give subtle results to darker levels of hair. If you have dyed black hair the results will be subtle and most likely go unnoticed unless you are in direct light. Results and color longevity may vary depending on hair's natural porosity and natural color. Follow these steps; 1. Wash hair with PREPARE TO DYE CLARIFYING SHAMPOO. Do not condition. 2. Dry hair with a blow dryer to remove excess water and ensure the hair is extremely porous and 3. Apply desired Manic Panic hair color. 4. Comb through each section to make sure color evenly applied and thoroughly saturated (color may become slightly frothy) 5. Leave color on for 30-45 minutes. 6. Rinse hair away from face with gloved hands until the water runs clear 7. Towel and/or blow dry hair. 8. Style as usual. how light does your hair have to be for blue steel to work?

Asked by: brookeliter
To achieve swatch results your hair has to be a pale blonde (level 9-10) . If you are unsure if your hair is this level currently we suggest a strand test to determine specifics such as processing times and possible results.

So I have medium/light blonde hair and I want to dye it with the cotton candy pink dye, but make it pastel. I am going to put conditioner in it, so how many uses do you think it will take to get through the container?

Asked by: Macy2304
In order for Cotton Candy Pink to pastel swatch results your hair has to be a pale blonde (level 9-10) . If you are unsure if your hair is this level currently we suggest a strand test to determine specifics such as processing times and possible results. If you are not open to bleaching your hair then we suggest using a darker pink such as Hot Hot Pink.

if i have virgin blonde hair level 9 will this turn my hair white or like a white-blonde?

Asked by: naturalvirginblonde
Virgin Snow is a blue-tinted toner designed to help eliminate brassy tones on the lightest level 10 blonde. Use Virgin Snow™ to create a cool-toned canvas that can give you better results before dyeing bright colors or to simply brighten your blonde. Virgin Snow, like all our shades, doubles as a deep conditioning mask while dyeing your hair.
